Frustration!
Tried to book online, frustrating experience, accidently booked the wrong day. tried to phone Bloomington Downs several times, no one answered. Send an email thru their website to cancel, again no one answered.
Poor customer service! and charged me a booking fee on top of that!
the course is in great shape all the work done was worth it and the longer rough’s make it more challenging
Improving nicely
New tee decks, new 'fescue;. Blue tees make course tougher though nobody seems to play from the tips which is good as most players are high handicappers. Greens are all pretty flat and slow
Good value for money, I played very early so was around in 3.5 hours but 4.5 is more normal.
Food is so-so and staff not particularly friendly.
Do not allow riders (must pay full greens fee if just riding) which is very unfortunate and unreasonable. Other courses let people come along for shared cart fee.
Reasonable driving range with good putting and chipping areas, though tee deck is a bit rough as it is heavily used.
Great course for all levels
Practice facility is good, the chipping green needs improving. Since adding the extra 1000 yards it's a good challenge for the 250 yard hitter off the tee box. The open fairways let's anyone challenge their driver for hitting further! Fair ways and greens are in excellent condition. I love walking this course. For
$65 you can't go wrong!
Dawn Tee time
This is my second time on the course and it never disappoints. I’m new to golf and I’ve always had fun on this course. The views are beautiful with the course layout and the wildlife you see on the course at that time. My grouping was the first of the day and even though all the times were filled we never felt like we were holding up the other groupings. I’d recommend this course to anyone new or seasoned golfers. I can’t wait to tee off again.
