Excellent work on rebuilding the club
Bloomington Downs golf course has recently been going under renovations to the course.. A lot of people were not pleased with the work being done, but now you can see that this course is going to be one of the best hidden gems in the city!
Well done Bloomington Downs keep up the good work.
Greatly improved golf course
After the construction was completed, the course condition was vastly improved. Newly laid grass sod, the addition of extended blue tees, well maintained fairways and greens, make the course more beautiful n challenging. The tee platforms were criticised for being too hard and probably the staff watered them so they were pretty wet when we played. Marshall was frequently checking on the pace of play to ensure no hold up and we four managed to finish 18 holes in a little over 4 hours which is not too bad on Friday which was a hot day with many players walking. Appreciate the good work of the Marshall. Check in was quick n easy, staff very polite n friendly and beverage cart was always around to serve. Overall speaking, big improvement that deserves recommendation.
Good value but tee areas are rock hard & annoying
Good course for moderate golfer, forgiving for RH slicers. New tees make a good challenge but most ppl play white.
Tees are rock hard so impossible to tee up unless you have hammer (tee blocks work as alternative!)
Greens all very easy withinimal break.
Have added fescue take missed fairways more punishing.
Pace is generally OK.
Because of the dryness , fairways are rock hard ..... Tee boxes need to be way more softer , need a hammer to put tees in .... I love this trek hence my positive feedback.
poor tee boxes
The tee boxes were very bad.
the tees would not go in, must of broke 10-12 tees.
not happy with the course this time.
Not going back till they fix the tee boxes.
Tee Decks
I’ve always enjoyed playing here but Tee decks like solid cement. Can’t put tee in ground. They need to aerate and water! Terrible
They really need to do something about the Tee boxes. You need a jack hammer to put a tee in the ground. Ground is solid.
