Royal Stouffville Golf Course

Please fix the cart paths as they are dangerous and someone gets hurt and sue the club !!!

The course was okay. I haven't played it in a few years, since it was known as Maple of Ballantrae. After checking in, I wanted to get a sandwich for the course. I was told that they don't make food to go, and that I would have to eat it there. Then I was told they didn't have any bread to make a sandwich. Okay then. I'll go without, and I won't be staying after my round for dinner.

As for the course. It was in okay shape. The ground was a little hard, but that was to be expected due to the heat and the little rain we've had. The cart paths, on the other hand, were terrible. Pot holes and ruts everywhere. Has staff never seen this? How hard is it to grade them once in a while.

Having never played before, we were pleasantly surprised at how great the course was. The day was very enjoyable with no wait for groups in front of us and some nice challenging holes. The greens were also in nice condition.

Will definitely play again.

Always good value. But dislike the 1st Hole. Hoping the new owners will consider changing it in the near future? Favorite holes are 2, 7,8,10,15,16,17 and 18. Can back-up at times. Really need a marshall out there to keep things moving along. Staff very friendly. Stayed for a beer. Will be back.

Played this course before as Maples of Ballantrae. The corse condition has improved much with the investment of the new owner. Fareways are debris free and the greens are in excellent condition.

Play this course many times and enjoy it. Wish the car path would be repair as someone will get hurt. One of the bridges looks like its ready to collaspe into the pond so be slow on it.
