Royal Stouffville Golf Course

With no clubhouse at the turn and no service cart - the service was the worst I've received in a long time.

course was great but nowhere to hit balls prior to round and practice green leave a lot to be desired.

Course is okay but could use some sprucing up.

Clubhouse needs some work. Washroom in clubhouse is terrible!

The course is in very good shape, marred slightly by the dampness caused by recent heavy rains. The grounds team is working hard on draining the affected areas. It is not a concern. Friendly staff and we got off quickly and finished our round in 3 1/2 hours. Going back on Friday for more fun. Thanks to all!

Course is not bad, especially for the price. The restaurant need updated and should in operation for people to enjoy the 19th hole. There shall be Marshal to monitor the pace of play. It took us more than 5.5 hours to finish. We need to wait almost every single hole.

I always play this course when golf season is about to end. Nice to walk and beautiful scenery for Fall.

Played on a Sat afternoon at 145pm. Did not finish until 7pm in the dark. 3rd hole had 4 groups at the tee. Ridiculous....Complained to Marshall and nothing changed.

Definitely not a good experience . Spent almost 5.5 hours to finish .

I think they over booked on weekend .

Group ahead was six-somes . Staff said they ok because even they split into 2 regular threesome . They could not movefaster because all groups ahead were back up

I was quite disappointed in my experience. It started when grounds crew with trimmers shot pinecones at me and my car. The pro shop needs a good cleaning and updating. The course was ok but very shaggy. Not worth the money we paid

First time I've played Maples in at least 15 years. Don't know why as I really enjoyed the round.

A great starter offered useful insight on nuances of the course which came in handy. A nice well balanced layout, with the exception the 18th which is a bit of a let down as a finisher. Course plays a bit short, par 5 greens are reachable in 2 BUT greens are well framed and well protected with bunkers and hazards so exercise caution with long approaches. Fairways and greens in very good condition, (doesn't anybody repair their ball marks on greens anymore ?)

Pace of play was good, restaurant closed for renos but food/drink cart makes regular rounds.

An enjoyable debut and pleasant surprise, looking forward to returning soon to lower score with experiences learned from this first round.

A great value course.

tee-blocks could be better.... greens could be faster (though rolled true)... for the money, a nice little track- approx. 6,700 yards but skewed, so may want to play whites on front and blues on back... some nice holes!

Original design and first upgrade were excellent. When the previous owners took over and changed the routing to start at the 17th hole they totally screwed up a great design thought out designed course. This could be a gem if done right. Currently always able to get on and challenging enough for the average golfer. Bring your own water if you play early. No water on the course and carts don't come out till 11. One could drop dead by then. I wish the beginners would learn to play on the 9 hole course they have.
