Royal Stouffville Golf Course

Played on a chilly and rainy day in September. No crowds. Course was in good shape with the exception of the bunkers that were hard nnd some full of water as they had not been drained yet. Grass was just cut so the spikes stayed grassy. Enjoyable round.

Enjoyed the whole day from arrival to completion, marshals were friendly and not at all pushy, maintenance staff were respectful and friendly. Great atmosphere and an enjoyable experience. Well done..

Interesting course with some variations in layout and elevation. However, some areas within the course require more attention of maintenence. Length of grass in many rough areas next to fairway is mostly long. Often even just off the fairway, it is difficult to find the balls. The ground is also a bit hard especially at the rough. Sand is bit hard. Unless you can play at discounted rates at odd time, the green fee is bit high relative to the course conditions.

The greens are all inconsistent, pace of play is slow even after this was brought to the attention of the marshall.

Fairways are wide open, a lot of hazards exist throughout 18holes. I would remmend this golf course for intermidiate golfers

I found the course was too crowded for a Thursday morning. Maybe it was overbooked. We felt a little rush as the marshall was pushing us along.

Mature course and friendly staff, used almost all of my clubs in my bag.

Played this course a number of times, only because of it's close proximity, and I think it's over rated. Very bumpy and long grass fairways, greens pose a bit of a challenge but that's it. Good starter course but way to expensive. $50 cart included is all one should pay.

Good course, challenging holes, lots of water. Not a lot of amenities - 10th hole follows directly after 9th - no chance to get food. But great value for money. Not pretentious.

Lots of trees. Tight fairways. Course was well maintained and staff was friendly. Greens were excellent and challenging.

This course is defintiely not worth more than $40 a round at any time. It is not very well maintained and the grass is rather sparse in some areas. It's also a pretty short course, be sure to check out the yardage before playing here.
Made the mistake of getting a cart. No GPS and pretty slow pace of play.
Greens were very slow when we played there, they clearly hadn't been cut that day.
Staff was pretty friendly, lots of marshalls on the course, but they weren't doing much.
All in all it was a beautiful day so we enjoyed it but it was far too expensive for what you get.

We played on a Thursday morning, and it was, hands down, the best golf experience in 3 years. The staff was very friendly, the marshals did their job to keep slow groups playing, and the course was in ideal shape. We played at a very reasonable pace, getting around in 4 hours, and throughly enjoyed the weather, and the course. With the Golfnow discount, it was an ideal price to pay.

Got off early, 730am.....quick 3.5 hours no delays.

Asian man in clubhouse was rude to me and my girlfriend. Course in lousy shape, lacks proper maintenance. 15-20 minute waits at every tee box. Marshall nowhere to be found until 17th hole when he tried kicking us off the course because the clean up kid wanted the carts back. Absolute ridiculous overall experience, wouldn't return for a free round. What was once a nice course has gone to trash.

not good. too many people and too slow. The condition need repaired. The front of power carts don't have screens. It's dangerous if balls hit. The courses are too narrow that balls always flied from the other courses.

Going to the bush to look for golf balls for them self. Find it very hard to believe Marshalls behave like that....

This course is a decent track, layout can get a bit "plain" in the middle of the round but overall a good course for beginners to experienced players (all depends on what tees you play).

The pace of play on weekends is the issue. Came back to play after 2 years and experienced the same 5+ hour round...

Staff is very rude and not wecloming at all. Over priced for the course. Also they dont care if you come back or not because of the attitude.
