The Highland Course is Mill Run Golf Club's 18-hole executive course. The course has been rated as one of the best executive golf courses in Ontario. Highland is a great alternative to the club's three championship courses for golfers who are pressed for time, and for juniors, and seniors. The golf course offers a player-friendly test for beginners and high-handicappers, but more skilled golfers will appreciate the short-game practice. Most golfers find that every club in their bag is used during a round on this course. The undulating terrain provided by the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, located just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, offers a scenic golf setting

Mill run golf course
This has to be the worst course I’ve ever played on terrible conditions not worth the money what so ever
Course needs maintenance
The Highland course was in really rough condition. Tee boxes had weeds growing in them. Pace of play was horrendous. It's a shame because the course would be fun to play if it was better maintained.
Good course, would do it again
Tee boxes need a once over of maintenance, but the course itself is nice. Very friendly staff.

The course was really well laid out and we did it in 3 hours which was great
Nice course.
Nice little par 3 course. Little rough around the edges but I it will better. The par 4 holes are longest holes I played for a par 3 course. The geens were really fast love it.

Gotta experience this gem
Never been disappointed when playing this course. Staff are courteous and helpful and just want you to enjoy your day. Something that kinda amazed me recently when playing this course is the number of first time golfers that make the choice to come here. They picked the perfect place as its relaxed and most are not too serious which makes for a better experience for new golfers. I've been playing all my life but not enough to be a scratch golfer just enough to know what kinda course that suits me. This course is designed for players that want to have fun and even get some pars and birdies. This has been my first choice golf course for many years. Wish I lived closer and could play more often but always in great spirits when I have the chance to play the Highlands at the Mill Run! 2 thumbs way up!
Great everytime
The combination of course conditions, people playing, and staff is just excellent. This place is everything you need for a great golf experience.
Disappointed with the round
In all honesty, I’m not one to complain. However, as an average golfer I was very unimpressed with my round this morning. Not only did I pay more to do 18 holes to enjoy my Saturday, but we ended up leaving after 9 because of how slow the pace of play was. For 2 intermediate golfers it took us over 40 minutes to play 2 holes. We ended up teeing off 20 minutes after our tee time because the original 2 sum we were supossed to golf with didn’t want to be paired up with us Because they were beginners. Therefore, every hole we were waiting way longer than we should have.
When we decided to stop playing after 9 we told the gentlemen at the front check-in.
We were also told there would be a beverage cart around the course so we could get drinks and never saw it once.
Overall extremely disappointed.
Genuinely just a poor golf course
I’m sure the other Mill Run golf courses are in much better condition and significantly better overall but the Highland course was probably one of the worst courses I’ve played this year and I’ve been to about 15-20 courses throughout York region. The layout is terrible, the pace of play due to the structure of the holes is very slow and the conditions of the course were easily a 3/10, simply a 3 because the course was playable. I normally really like Mill Run but they’ve clearly Stopped caring for the Highland Course.
Great bang for your buck
A well maintained course. Has better kept greens than a lot of more expensive courses around the area. I will definitely play this again. Perfect course to put the driver away and work on the rest of your bag with.
