The Highland Course is Mill Run Golf Club's 18-hole executive course. The course has been rated as one of the best executive golf courses in Ontario. Highland is a great alternative to the club's three championship courses for golfers who are pressed for time, and for juniors, and seniors. The golf course offers a player-friendly test for beginners and high-handicappers, but more skilled golfers will appreciate the short-game practice. Most golfers find that every club in their bag is used during a round on this course. The undulating terrain provided by the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, located just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, offers a scenic golf setting

Hard Ground
The course had no one in front of us so the pace of play was excellent. The ground was hard as rock in the rough as well As fairway. Not very forgiving since the ball would bounce wildly. Hitting shots of the ground was like hitting off of concrete. This needs to be fixed. Good price for 18 holes and a cart.
Great potential
The fairways were very dry and hard, the greens were similarly dry and hard (lots of ant hills). That said, it was a very pretty course, nicely laid out and very forgiving.
Full disclosure
When I saw Mill Run Highlands I thought it was some sort of links course not an executive par 3 course. If I knew I would have never book a tee time there.
Rough terrain
The overall layout was ok, however the fairways were rough and the greens were filled with ant hills. Not a pretty setting.
Refund
We get there about 5 minutes late and course want us to be there 20 minutes before tee time
So they don’t let us play we were disappointed
Amazing course
Great layout, distance and upkeep. Would definitely recommend!
I realize it's been dry and you can't change that so, while it helped my shots roll farther, the hard ground and sand traps didn't allow you to get a lot of spin or feel on your shots. But it was my first round of the year, I enjoyed the course, the company, the weather and the exercise, so it was a good afternoon.
Good value
Of course keeping in mind difficulties of upkeep during covid it’s apparent the course needs some TLC. But otherwise it’s an excellent beginner course. Mainly par 3s.
Still a Great Executive Course
I played this course a ton when I was a kid. Still a great executive course. I will be back
