Challenging Greens
Course is in good condition, greens are very challenging. Since they were starting everyone off on the tenth green you were not told this before heading out to the first tee. This caused confusion starting the round and allowed others who may have not realized this to start on the first tee which slowed play for our back nine.
Beautiful
Great value and excellent course. We will definitely return again
Good course but would never go back
Wait started at 2'nd hole par 3 for two groups ahead to tee off.
Waited at half of all tees for 5 - 10 min for group in front to tee off. Also waited in fairways to hit, ruined our day, will never go back.
Deadly Greens
If you want to challenge your "flat stick", look no further than Hunter's Pointe. The greens are undulating and fast, and if you have trouble gauging speed and distance, you're going to post a high number.
The rest of the course was in great shape, the staff was real friendly and accommodating (even when our cart ran out of battery after 6 holes), and the other 3 golfers than I joined with were real good guys.
Links style
It would have been nice to have course layouts to anticipate more direction and hazzards. But lots of room for error on most holes. well marshalled. Well staffed. Got a deal on line...otherwise a bit pricy.
Great course...challenging wind
Love playing course. It's a challenging layout with lots of risk/reward shots.
Just get used to the wind. Each time I've played this year the wind has been a factor on 2/3rds of the holes. Half the shots directly into the wind and have from the side. 3-4 holes with wind at your back make for some nice long drives.
Will play again for sure
Nice Course
Nice layout, course is in pretty good shape. Par 4 on back nine only 262 yds didn't make sense.
** Starter warned us of TICKS in the tall grass, and not to go looking for lost balls there, a little scary with lyme disease. Glad starter warned us- no problems.***
Beautiful course
Beautiful course. Very picturesque. Greens are very fast. A forgiving course.
Excellent course
This was our first time playing the course. We really enjoyed our outing. The course is in excellent shape and the greens are fast but true. We will definitely play this course again
Solid links style course
Good value for an excellent course very satisfied !!
Tough on a Windy Day
Hunters Pointe was great to play but it was an extremely windy day and made play moderately difficult made the ball move in funny ways. Taking the wind into account it was an excellent round of golf. Course was a bit soggy given recent rain but it was in excellent condition. Greens played very well and were in excellent condition.
Great Scottish links style
Great price very windy but that's what links type courses are like. Long tough par 3's no 100 yd pitch and putts .Will play there again
Very enjoyable .don't walk it some long distances between holes
Excellent Links Course
Great course with a great layout. Extremely friendly staff who take your bags and place them on carts. Also give you tips for how to play certain holes and how to navigate the course. Course was in excellent shape and the greens were challenging. Overall great play that my friends and which will play again!
Tooo Slowwww
Pace of Plat Brutal!!!! 6 plus hours for a round of golf!!! to bad great course. But each time I am out there it 5 hours plus to play golf!
Great coarse!
Great value, was delayed half an hour on tee off time cause of coarse being very busy, but we'll worth the drive and wait.
Very challenging coarse. Would definitely play again!
gerryhunters point
Course was in excellent conditions. Greens had been aerated and some were slower than others, but overall good. Pace of play was somewhat slow - 4.5 hours. Great variety of holes, good test of ones ability. Will play again. Would recommend to anyone.
Great Course but super slow
Always enjoy this links style course. Sadly this round took 5 hours and 10 mins. Player the week before in 4.5 hours which is long but acceptable on a Saturday. But 5 and change not cool.
Nice but...
Great course that is in very good "links style" condition, complete with wind. Only low point was when we arrived and informed that they had run out of power carts. Half hour delay waiting for people to finish up
Challenging Course
The joy of the course was tempered by the slow play as we waited on every shot and the game took five hours. It seemed that the tee time interval of 8 minutes was too short to allow a proper pace of play.
Good value
Overall course in good condition except for lack of sand in bunkers. Greens rolled true and fast, the wind is always there and a challenge. Very good value for $$/.
