Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club
About
Situated just outside of Welland, Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club offers a parkland-style course that is easily accessible from Niagara Falls. With the Niagara Escarpment serving as a backdrop, the golf course has a rolling landscape covered with large ponds, wandering creeks, and towering trees. The Pelham Hills layout features elevated tees and undulating greens that are heavily guarded. In addition to numerous bunkers there is also strategically placed mounding separating the holes. The front nine has a few demanding holes that require long carries over ravines but there are also many birdie opportunities. Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club's back nine tests your drives more than your shot-making skills. The golf course is a formidable challenge but generous fairways make it more player friendly.

Great Course
This course is always fun to play and luckily it wasn’t that hot however when it’s been that hot the course take’s a beating but the greens were immaculate.
!
DO NOT BRING YOUR MONEY HERE, you will be greatly disappointed to find out that this is one of the worst courses in Niagara to play. Not worth the money at all, the cart was just as expensive as the round, course conditions were horrendous, and the greens are not properly maintained or cut at all.
WORST GOLF COURSE IN NIAGARA, id rather go play WaterPark or Garden City, course conditions are probably the same but half the price!!! Can play Willodel, Twenty Valley, Cardinal Lakes, Sawmill, and a handful of other courses for the same price if not less.
Serious and semi-serious golfers, DO NOT COME HERE
Dissapointed
Very dry
Seems like they haven't watered course in years
Greens not cut
Like putting on shag carpet
Good times
Course was in good shape. Greens were a little slow and fairways dry which made for lots of roll out.
Pace of play was excellent. Staff friendly and courteous.
Good experience
However the gardens are just weeds and there is no other food choices close by
Time has let this course get better,
It has been over 5 years since we played this course. The early shift green fee guy was as polite and helpful as always. He has been there each time we played here. The round was pretty quick, under 3-1/2 hours with electric cart. Greens were in very good shape and consistent to read. Some fairways were a bit dry as were some of the tee boxes. We had a very good day. We appreciated the changes to holes 7 , 9, 11, & 15.
Disappointing day overall
The course was just ok, nothing special. It was pretty dried out and several tee boxes were under maintenance (especially red tees). It should not have to be a challenge to set your tee in hard ground).
The real disappointment came before the round when 2 of our group had mild covid symptoms (positive antigen test) and did the right thing and stayed home. Neither the golf course or Golf Now were willing to give any compensation for the lost rounds. I really did not appreciate the attitude of the guy working in the pro shop - I could care less how Golf Now and the courses do business. We will reconsider how to book our times going forward.
Hackman
Course very interesting layout rough a little too rough fun to play challenging would play again but try to stay in fairway
Hacker
Course was tough rough was tough signage confusing to where holes were but overall had fun some ReS cod use some timing some tee offs to hard
Parts of the fairways are in rough shape right now
There were a number of the fairways that are staked as they are seemingly trying to regrow grass, but it is a bit much; perhaps they could use the the little metal stakes that other courses use rather than wooden stakes.
Staff /pro shop were great … attentive and in tune with what was happening on the course and with the layers - much thanks!!
nice course
play here often best staff great pro shop play here often it is a neat course
The course has improved much over last year. it's the best it has been in yrs. Still room for some improvements
