HORRID
This shouldn’t even be called a golf course.
It’s completely unplayable and unenjoyable I read reviews online and they were bad but I thought they were being picky
They weren’t lying greens aren’t even greens it’s black dirt
Payed for 18 but couldn’t stand to play the back 9 and got a refund
Cow field
This course appears to be neglected. Tee boxes not cut, greens are full of dead grass. Carts run poorly. There are way better courses in this price range/difficulty. I would not recommend this course to anyone, even beginners.
Good practice course for high handicappers
I love the game of golf I'm not very good at it (I typically shoot around 100) and it's an expensive and time-consuming hobby. Ever since COVID, golf courses in the Niagara Region have become much more expensive and very crowded. I'm not interested in paying $70+ to spend more time watching the group ahead than actually golfing. Most courses I used to go to go now take 5 hours on average to play 18.
I tried Water Park for the first time recently. Admittedly it is a very poorly maintained course, and it is 100% a cow pasture - zero elevation or creativity. The fairway is actually first-cut rough, the bunkers are literally unplayable, and the greens are very slow and bumpy (but somehow they still roll pretty true). If you're looking for a proper course, this is not the place.
However, I was able to finish 18 holes in 2.5 hours on a Saturday at midday in July. Unlike other discount courses such as Brock or Garden City, you can pull driver on most holes and the six par 3s are all of decent length. Therefore, for someone of my skill and budget level I will very likely return to this course with friends of a similar ilk.
Terrible conditions
Probably the Worst conditions I have ever played on. Half of the greens were unplayable, covered in dirt or sand and your ball will not roll. There was 0 distinction between fairway and rough, because there IS NO fairway! its all rough 2 inch thick grass. You would pipe a drive down the middle and lose your ball in the thick "fairway".
It is sad they actually take peoples money and operate with those conditions. Don't come here until major renovations are done.
Good for value
I like the layout of the course. But some of the tee boxes have long grass to hit from and the greens are basically unputtable.
Good price ($12) poor greens and long grass
Not the best kept fairways (super long grass both on the fairway and tee off blocks) and greens were TERRIBLE!! With how bad they are they should add an extra stroke to par because your ball will bounce all over the aerated greens…. Almost like golfing moguls. A few redeeming qualities of this course are it’s not super busy so pace of play is good, it’s CHEAP, and most holes are good distance so great to work long game.
Course is coming back in shape
Under the new management, course is coming back to shape. Staff is really friendly and prices are very affordable. Food is great. Must visit at least once and you will find that they are working hard. Beautiful Sunset views.
Getting better everyday. Very good value for the money
Yes. This course had his chalenges. The greens were horrific but they have been working hard at restoring them and they are getting better everyday.
I really like the. Course layout. Lots of water so be careful.
In all these folks are trying hard to get this course going. After the greens are done. I would suggest redoing the sand trap.
As far as I’m concerned. They are the best value for the money in this area. GolfNow also has good deals on them! Last time I checked. $14 for 18 holes at 12.30!!
Terrible greens
It's a longer executive with forgiving fairways buy the worst greens I've played on. A decent course to bring your kid to play...if you can get a deal (18 holes was 14.99 on GN)
Good for learning
Fairways need more water very hard & dry. Greens were & tee boxes were nice
