Oshawa Airport Golf Club
About
Oshawa Airport Golf Club is situated in a scenic valley, running alongside a gentle stream. Sprinkled within the executive layout are some of the toughest par 3s in all of Ontario but they are nicely balanced by more player-friendly par 4s. Throughout the course you will find plenty of challenging hazards. Two large ponds come into play and there is a meandering creek that runs across three holes. The fairways are wide open and the undulating greens tend to be fast. You'll also find strategically placed bunkers along some of the greens. Although the greens have some tricky slopes, the golf course is mostly flat and easy to walk. Oshawa Airport Golf Club finishes with its signature hole, a 175-yard par 3 that requires a carry over water in order to reach the green.

Great place to learn
Nice little course. Greens are really nice to look at, just keep in mind they run much slower than the average. Many of the par 3s will have you in trouble if long/short or too far left/right so a great place to practice accuracy with the wedges. All but one par 4 is short. You can decide if you want to go for them using a 3w, or use a 5-6i and leave yourself half a wedge to the pin.
Teeboxes need some serious work as they're very uneven. Would suggest you ignore the tee block placements and just find any spot that is flat. Also if you know your distances, ignore the scorecard and bring a rangefinder.
First round of the season
It was still pretty wet but all in all a good round. It is a shorter course but good as usual.
Nice Practice Course
Course is a nice little track to learn how to play or to hone in your iron game. It's typically a great place to play in the summer/fall. However some serious drainage work needs to be done for it to be enjoyable for spring golf. If you play before June make sure your shoes are waterproof.
Excellent value for your money!
Challenging course that provides excellent value for your money.
Great for short game, friendly staff, greens in excellent shape. Will play here again
Excellent golf course in the city. You only need 3 hours to play. Conditions are excellent. Great value for being in the city. 5 star.
Good value for your money!
Course in great shape and perfect challenge for the weekend golfer.
This course is a hidden gem within the city of oshawa. No driving and finished in 3 hrs. The course is in great shape .
Good value
It's the best municipal course I've played! The greens are immaculate.
Great little course
First time we played this course we were surprised how well kept the greens were. Today was our second time around at this course and it's still in really great shape even after the 3-4 weeks of drought. This course has really really nice greens. Played almost all my clubs. Course is walkable, but I prefer to take a golf cart. Sure the cost of the cart is more than the green fee if you get the hot rate on golf now. At the end it balances out and worth it because who doesn't have more fun driving around a golf cart? It's a great course to practice your game play. It's also nice to watch the local planes fly in and out while playing. Staff here are super friendly. Coming back to this little gem again and again.
Excellent Little Course
If you're from the area, this course is perfect to practice your short game. With a couple challenging tight par 3's over the water, and 2 longer ones mixed in. All the par 4's are drive-able with the exception of one which challenges you to be dead straight or risk being sloped off into the woods. The greens are fairly easy and in good condition. A true handicap of 20-24 on a pro 72 course, should have you easily scoring high 60's to mid 70's here. It is a par 61.
