Hidden Creek Golf Club
About
Nestled along the banks of its namesake Hidden Creek, this is a links-style/traditional combination that rolls through oak and mesquite groves. The fairways are narrow and trees line every hole. The greens are fast and huge, and lakes come into play frequently along with numerous dogleg fairways. The course was designed by Stephen D. Plumer, who incorporated a few split fairways to spice up the layout.
The best hole is the 448-yard No. 8, which forces at least a 230-yard tee shot over water to a tight landing area and an approach down the dogleg-left fairway to a multi-tiered green.
Getting there : From I-20, take I-35 south, and drive 10 miles to Renfro Rd. Stay on the access road and the course is on the right side.

Great Course
Great soft tee boxes, other courses I’ve played had hard tee boxes. Nice greens, open space, lost a few balls in the bush, but that’s part of the game. I would play this course again. I like it, even had a cart girl there but didn’t get anything.
I had a great time, I have driven by course over 50 times going back and forth between FW and San Antonio. Always wanted to play it and I finally did I will definitely be back.
Pace of play
It's not that the course is bad. It's actually in good shape. Pace of place is horrible and bunks are rocks and mud. Greens are true. Fairway are nice.
Good Value for the Money, Time and Distance
We have played Hidden Creek several times to date and expect that we will return and play here again in the near future. Living in Arlington, Hidden Creek is not too far to travel. I left my cell phone in the cart and the staff were very helpful in retrieving the phone.
Special Thanks!
Crowded for a Tuesday.
To crowded for a single during the week. Only played 7 of 18 holes before I stopped trying to play through groups. Course was in real good shape and the price is right.
Hidden Creek Hidden Treasure
The staff was professional and helpful. The course was maintained well. The greens showed signs of being recently aerated but were filling in nicely. The fairways were mowed nicely. The course has mature trees that will cause problems and it also has a couple of hidden water hazards. A very enjoyable course. I will play again.
Good Muni
I have played this course a few years and will return.
The difficulty of the 5-6-7 holes tests us every time.
Practice is casual with a driving range, putting and chipping greens. Food is good and cart girls awesome.
Challenging Course with Good Conditions
I played Hidden Creek on a Saturday morning after some fairly heavy rain all day Friday. The course was cart path only and it played very slow, I would really like to play out here when conditions are sunny and dry. You can tell the course is well maintained, some tee boxes were long but that can be attributed to the heavy rain. It's tight the entire way and will challenge you, but I feel like it would be enjoyable for any skill level from the right tee boxes. My only recommendation to them would be to update their scorecard. I should have been more aware, but they have done away with the black tees and moved some of the blue tees back, so you may be playing a 7,000 yard course if you aren't careful. Overall it was a very good experience.
Had a really good time on the course. I thought the green were in very good shape. Best of the 4 courses I have played this season. I will like to play here more often. would recommend playing.
Good Course
One of the best public courses around for the price. Some holes are very tight, driver is not needed on most of the course. Greens are tricky! I play this course often and will keep on coming back.
Great gem
This course was in great shape in spite of recent rain. Challenging hole layouts, could use basic yardage noted on cart paths. Pace of play was excellent.
Another good experience
Course was in good shape and the greens were excellent. Pace of play was good considering every group was a 4 some.
Finally played course , driving by all the time !! Well worth it!
Challenging. Shot making a must in some holes!!
