Hidden Creek Golf Club
About
Nestled along the banks of its namesake Hidden Creek, this is a links-style/traditional combination that rolls through oak and mesquite groves. The fairways are narrow and trees line every hole. The greens are fast and huge, and lakes come into play frequently along with numerous dogleg fairways. The course was designed by Stephen D. Plumer, who incorporated a few split fairways to spice up the layout.
The best hole is the 448-yard No. 8, which forces at least a 230-yard tee shot over water to a tight landing area and an approach down the dogleg-left fairway to a multi-tiered green.
Getting there : From I-20, take I-35 south, and drive 10 miles to Renfro Rd. Stay on the access road and the course is on the right side.

The New Hidden Creek
I like the changes and the re-routing of a few holes. More playable but still challenging. Glad they got rid of the old #18. New greens are still very hard. Fairways were dormant but greens were nice.
a very challenging course. trouble awaits on every hole.
the remodel was a great improvement to this course. plays harder than the handicap rating.
good terrain, well maintained, challenging but user friendly.
rolling hills, interspersed with trees and creeks make this an interesting, fun and challenging layout. Promotional fee was great, too.
I loved the course. In great condition. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I played the course for the 2nd time since the re-do. It is now playing as the designer likely imagined. The course has everything necessary for a challenge but doesn't overwhelm.
its a challenging golf course
This course was more challenging than what I remember. It was in really good condition and you definitely want to stay away from the rough.
middle of tourney
$24 on golfnow is top of price range. remodel is good.THIRD time in a row golfnow tee time there was a tournament going on!!! 1:30 tee time ...shotgun at 1:00.
Great course for a great price
The course is set up very nice, greens are in very good shape, and the price is great. I think I have found my home course!
A Good Golf Course
This was my first trip back since the re-design. I think they did a good job with the new par 5 #1 and the additional hole around the lake.
I found the course challenging off the tee box with plenty of opportunity to play well or put it in the rough.
Found the greens receptive and very puttable.
A well laid out, solid golf course.
Great course, good value!
Fairly tight course that requires all the clubs in your bag. Greens in excellent condition. Overall, it's a fun layout.
Good Value!
Fairways actually had some fluff and greens were rolling true. This course may be the best value for a municiple in Tarrant County.
Love the "new Hidden Creek".... good bargain too.
I played this course when it first opened and it was a nice course. I have to say that the changes that were made make it seem like a different course. WAY better and more challenging. It is one of my favorite tracks these days....
Challenging course
Course is very challenging due to the extremely high, extra thick rough around the greens.
more challenging than ever!
I quit playing this course for a year during the redesign and early days for the new greens (which were so hard your good shots would not hold these greens). Now the course is in good condition and the new greens are a bit softer. They have done some nice work on this course. The one BIG change -- the secondary rough was so high that you could easily lose a ball and never find it. By the way the grass was cut, it looks like this was done with purpose! Playing 3-4 strokes tougher right now. This has become a "target" golf course, and will test your game in every way. Some of the pin placements are very challenging -- allot more break than they appear.
Super condition/value
Course was lush, greens were fast as heck and staff super friendly. Best value course bar none in DFW area.
This course was in great condition.
We enjoyed playing here again. Course offers alot of great challenges
Cost at course was only $0.01 more than discount offered by GolfNow.
Cost at course was only $0.01 more than discount offered by GolfNow. Normal cost is $20. I paid $1.99 to GolfNow and $18 to Hidden Creek.
Course was in great shape for the time of year. Greens where firm and fast.
Second time playing since the re-routing of the holes course was challenging and it was in great shape from tee to green.
Good course conditions considering the amtount of rain.
For a day after heavy rain, course played great .By the end of round they could have lifted cart path.
