Spring Break golf

We had over 1.5" of rain earlier in the morning but the course had drained well and the fairways and greens were in good condition.

The wind was 35+ mph and that made the day challenging but overall it was a great time on the course

Southern Oaks, yes, thanks

This was my 2nd time to play this course. They have a very nice physical layout, with modern brick building’s, pro shop, restaurant and bar, just what a good private club should have. Get there early and take advantage of the free range balls and grab a bite before your round.

The course is in great shape and the pace of play was excellent. I finished 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours, playing 2 balls on several holes when I found myself really by myself on the back 9. When I finished my round, I noticed the parking lot was getting full with the evening dinner crowd showing up! I look forward to playing there again.

NO restrooms on the course ---- golf cart did not have a parking brake, and there were NO restrooms on the course. All ( and l do mean ALL) the cart paths need to be replaced or removed.(missing or cracked}.

Hey, it’s winter golf

Nice facility. Winter conditions were a bit rough for the price. One issue was we played a foursome and we had twosomes stacked behind us. Made us play a much longer round because we are courteous golfers and let many play through. Nice cart girl. Probably wouldn’t go back until there is grass in the fairways.
