The course looked great, played true and the greens were quick. This course challenges every level of golfer and is unforgiving on long approaches with elevated greens and bunkers protecting.

They have taken Greta care of the greens the past couple weeks and they turned out really nice. Rolling true! Always a fun time playing this course

First time I've played this course in 15 years. I'm asking myself my did I wait so long to return. Greens are the toughest I've played this year. They are extremely tough, fast, but true. I would highly suggest getting there early and putting on the practice green, The speed of the practice green is very close to the course speed.

Due to the greens, and cup locations, be prepared to shot 5-10 more strokes than normal. It was a funny fun round, getting my butt kicked on the greens.

Everything was great except for snack shop and restuarsnt being closed due to covid.

Its a great place. Next time definitely will play tennis too.

The course is plush right now although the greens are a tad slow and grainy. Overall course is in great shape. This was a Friday morning round and it took 4.5 hours so pace wasn’t great. But the Marshall was out checking on the problem group.

The practice areas and driving range are top notch. There is a huge undulating putting green - and it is same condition as the greens. There are level putting lies, downhill, uphill and in between. Easy for 10-15 putters on the practice green at one time. There is a pitching practice area (balls supplied as part of round fee). There are a couple bunkers to practice sand shots. And, you can pitch uphill, downhill, etc. Again, balls supplied - no extra cost. Now, the driving range - it is best of the best. Balls supplied - no extra cost. The range is lighted (well lighted) for evening practice. You won't find a better driving range. mats when ground is really wet. The course is a really good layout - designed by Mark Brooks and the setting is beautiful forest. 4 tee boxes, all LEVEL and good grass. Fairways always lush and well mowed. Greens have NO brown spots - Uniform grass and decently fast greens. Bunkers are plentiful - guarding greens and along fairways on par 4 and 5's. Pace of play is generally good although they do allow 5 somes weekdays and it can be a trial sometimes. They should have a marshal on course but, I have never seen one. The value is I would say BEST VALUE in DFW metroplex. his could be a private club easily - and there is no private club that offers this value. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Only negative - I wish it were not so far to return carts to return area from the parking lot - Yeah, i am tired after a round - 76 and could be in better shape. just have to gripe about something. Right?

Other than being a little wet from the recent rain, the course was in great shape! This was my first time playing here, but definitely won’t be my last.
