Southern Oaks Golf & Tennis Club

I'm a member at Southern Oaks and am delighted that I found this place. I've been a club member at a number of country clubs across the metroplex and feel my new home is better then most. Course is challenging and always in excellent shape. The practice facilities are great and the staff is as good as it gets. Friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. The future is bright for this golf and tennis club!!!!

Course played great and was in very good condition. They keep making the course better.

The course was in real good shape, the greens were nice and the staff was very friendly. Had a great time!!!

The fairways and greens are in very good condition but still lots of construction going on. They are obviously making improvements in many areas. The prices are pretty steep for all of the construction going on. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely play again soon.

I am excited to see what the future holds from completed work too work in progress.

This golf course has continuously gotten better and better. The greens are in excellent condition and the fairways look similarly alike. I highly recommend this golf course.

I play couple times a week and find Southern Oaks to be my Favorite Course. Not a Great player yet play from the Black tees while my best friend plays Red tees. My downfall is putting and always find difficulty in reading the greens. Sand traps placed in and along fairways the slopes around greens and rough grasses around greens make the challenge much more interesting. I Fully Recommend Southern Oaks to Anyone who enjoys not just playing golf hitting the ball but for the Challenge of fairway ball placement and the challenge of reading the greens.

Really just a fantastic course. Challenging, yet not in a bad way. Course is incredibly well maintained, and a great course layout. Greens are a bit slow, but at least consistent. Pro-shop staff are always nice, driving range and practice areas are immaculate. Will play here many more times!

Fairways were in good shape greens were in great shape. Love this course. Will play here again when it gets a little cooler.

Course was in great shape. I'm a high handicap player but I played with friends that were 2 and 10 handicappers. All had a great time and will play again soon.

Very well maintained, lush fairways. Greens above average. White sandy traps! Not a bad price, even a better value if a hot deal!!

I like playing this course because it has a little of everything. Holes with water that dares you to try hitting over it. It felt like they made the course longer. The course seemed to be in good condition. They are making improvements to the facilities, but that doesn't include the course at this time. I will definitely play this course again. I really enjoy it when I play here.

All Excellent I am a "senior" golfer

I should start with Southern Oaks is my home course and I play it several times a week. However I have also played other courses in the area recently and each time I do I wish I was back playing at Southern Oaks. The conditions of the course are exceptional. The staff are are always awesome. I know with the more positive reviews the more people will show, well the course deserves it with all the improvements made over the past year or so. If you've not played Southern Oaks recently you should!

This was my first round at this course and I was very impressed. They have made many improvements recently and the course conditions were excellent. The only caveat I would offer is to seniors 55 and up. If you are a senior and want the senior rate do not book your tee time through Golf Now book directly with the course. We booked online and the standard rate for our time was $48.00. The fellow who checked us in said since we booked online we had to pay that rate. That was the only negative to the day. All the of the staff was friendly and professional. The food was very good and the cart girl was seen frequently. We were a twosome and they let us go ahead of our scheduled time. We were first out and finished the round in about 3 hours. When we inquired about a replay they told us we could play as much as we could stand for $20. The second round was a little slower as there were plenty of players but we still finished in just a shade over 4 hours. I received a very healthy pour in my post round beverage at the bar and once again the service was impeccable. Everybody was on staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend making the trip out to Burleson to play Southern Oaks.

Always love playing this course, really enjoy the challenge of the greens, you can let your driver do the work from most holes, and then you have some that you have to play a conservative game

Makes for fun play, will always return for the challenge.
