Alsatian Golf Club

this is the second time in a couple of months I have played here and for the second time, once I got to hole 11; play came to a screeching halt. Previously, our foursome allowed a twosome to play through. We get to hole 11, other side of the clubhouse, now they are a 5 some! Where is the marshall on the back? I saw him twice on the front, where there wasn't a problem.

I had to cut my round short due to time constraint. 4 hours in and I was on the 14th hole. Who knows how much longer it would have taken.

Course was in good condition. Ball did not travel due to wet conditions and cart path only for that reason.

Fariways were gorgeous. A couple of greens need attention. But all in all really enjoy playing this course. And the restaurant serves some really great food for before or after your round.

My brother and I went to enjoy a day out on the course. It was super HOT outside that day. We started off poorly but got into a rhythm. Everyone we encountered was friendly and we kept going through the sauna day outside. We live about 35 min from the course and when we reached our house, we received a call that my brother had forgotten his wallet in the golf cart. The staff member reassured my brother that his wallet will loudly be locked up until he could pick it up the next day. Super customer service!!

Played Alsatian before. Good course for the price. (25 bucks).

I needed to take a pill for this infection. Figured I'd do it at the turn because I need to take it with food. Run into the clubhouse, grab a hotdog, back onto the tee box in no time. Right? I waited for what seemed like a good 20 minutes before I finally got my dog and some fries! Get back to the tee box, carts backed up to the cart barn, waiting on me! I feel bad. Rushing to make up for the delay, I finally get a chance to bite into this...hotdog. Oh my! That's pretty good! No, seriously. Bun lightly toasted, enough catsup and mustard to taste but not so much to make it sloppy. Fries were ok. (I'm a crispy fry guy) Dog, fries and a Shiner for 9 bucks. Not bad! When I go again, I'll do one either before or after the round. It was worth the wait!

Greens were soft and approach shots moved little from were they hit. They varied in speed from green to green on putts but we're fair and challenging. Play by the foursome in front of us was very slow and we waited on every shot including tees with Boone in front of them for 3 holes. The marshall asked why it was backed up and he talked to them and they speed up play and the back nine was much better.

Great course, just seemed a little rushed by the line judge when we were having to wait on the group in front of us. Told us “We were really getting our money’s worth.” Other than that, it was very enjoyable.

This is a really great track located about 30 minutes outside of San Antonio. Great country setting course was in excellent shape we will definitely return.

Another nice day there..friendly people..starters very courtual. Always a great atmosphere.

Course is usually well kept and the greens are always in great shape. The staff is really friendly and course gives out free water bottles and ice to refill your ice chest. Course isn’t too difficult but it has some fun and challenging holes that keeps it interesting and forces one to use different clubs. Greens can be challenging as they cut them lower some days and make them vary from normal to really fast on certain days.
