About
Alsatian GC is an 18-hole with water in play. Front side fairly open and flat, almost links type play. Hole 2 surrounded by waterways and bunkers. Back side is hilly and has lots of trees. Super finishing hole with a tree in center of uphill fairway.
Throughout the course you will find challenging and beautiful fairways lined with trees and Spanish Dagger. The course also offers distance wedge game range, practice bunkers, three-level putting green, and a pre-round putting green.
Lodging: The Alsatian Inn is located approximately two miles from the club. A very nice facility, it has ninety rooms, a swimming pool, and a really good restaurant. Children under the age of fourteen stay free.
Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown on Highway
90 West to Castroville. But worth the trip.... Take Highway 90 West through Castroville; turn right at the blinking light just past the Alsatian Inn; veer left on CR 4516. Course is 2.5 miles down on the right.

Great course in a country setting.
Pace of play is always comfortable. Friendly staff. Grounds crew always has the course in very good playing condition. Check out the hamburgers after your round.

Good course layout, fairways in good condition and well kept. Greens are fast

Very wide open, kinda out of town so it’s not very busy which was a great thing on a Saturday morning.

Everyone did a great job and we had a great time even the weather work with us
Annual Birthday Tournament.
We’ve been playing here for the 4th year now. Alsatian has perfectly accommodated us every time. From the Marshalls keeping us in play to the speedy service at the kitchen and bar. I dont Know of any other course that provides every player with ice cold waters ? The greens were in great shape and our party was well taken care of.

Alsatian is a wide open course, that is great for the price. After a round be sure to stop into the grill for a steak, garlic fries, and an ice cold beer.

Have been coming here for six years. The constant improvements and the entire welcoming experience Alsatian provides to lucky golfers!

My Favorite Course
The great thing about this course is the consistency. Course always in good shape, staff is always friendly, and it is always an enjoyable round of golf!
Fun layout
Fun friendly layout. Nice staff and great food at the restaurant. Greens were soft but in great shape. Very rarely saw any dead spots. Fairways also in good shape. Definitely recommended
Outstanding Hill Country course!
First time playing this course and our group really enjoyed it.
The course conditions were great, especially the greens, which rolled straight and true. The layout is challenging but fair and fun for the high and low handicappers. Pace of play was good and the staff were friendly.
Overall this is a beautiful, well kept course that all level of golfers will enjoy. Nice amenities and professional staff. I would definitely recommend Alsatian to friends.
Great Course
Course was in great shape, felt guilty for only paying $18 on a Golfnow Hot Deal rate!!! Staff was SUPER friendly, showed up early not knowing course didn't open until 11am on Tuesdays. Instead of telling my buddy and I to go wait until they open, sweet lady at front counter gave us both small buckets and let us warm up while we waited, and offered us free coffee. Will definitely be going back, thank you!!!!
