About
Alsatian GC is an 18-hole with water in play. Front side fairly open and flat, almost links type play. Hole 2 surrounded by waterways and bunkers. Back side is hilly and has lots of trees. Super finishing hole with a tree in center of uphill fairway.
Throughout the course you will find challenging and beautiful fairways lined with trees and Spanish Dagger. The course also offers distance wedge game range, practice bunkers, three-level putting green, and a pre-round putting green.
Lodging: The Alsatian Inn is located approximately two miles from the club. A very nice facility, it has ninety rooms, a swimming pool, and a really good restaurant. Children under the age of fourteen stay free.
Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown on Highway
90 West to Castroville. But worth the trip.... Take Highway 90 West through Castroville; turn right at the blinking light just past the Alsatian Inn; veer left on CR 4516. Course is 2.5 miles down on the right.

A great course!! Challenging and in great shape
I have played here multiple times and enjoyed each round. Course is in great shape and the staff is welcoming. Highly recommend it!
Nothing spectacular
If you can get a cheap tee time, it may be worth your time. Most fairways and greens are in decent shape but a few rough and worn spots around the greens.
Golf Now $$&
For January golf - doesn’t get any better than this. Greens were in great condition and rolled pretty smooth. Definitely will play here again when I return to the San Antonio area in 4 months
Great Course
My favorite course in and around San Antonio. Pace of play is one of my favorite things about this course. We can get a four-some done in under 4 hours easily.

Always enjoy playing Alsatian. Course was in great shape, except for #2 green. I highly recommend playing this course.

Great place to enjoy your golf
Course is not overly long, but huge Oaks make accuracy vital for good scores. Course was in good condition but not great due to amount of rain this fall.
Staff was great and very accommodating. Absolutely flew around course due to not over booking. Highly recommend this course!
Fast firm greens
Occasionally get to Alsatian GC, although a little distance from SA. Fun course, greens were fast and firm......but great shape. Fairways OK.......in Fall/Winter condition, a little dried out. Pace of play very good. Definitely recommend, esp. if you can snag a GolfNow deal.
Staff was RUDE!!
Staff was rude!! Will not play there again. I will not support a business when they treat their customers like that!!
Great Greens very healthy and smooth farwaiys are lush and the ball sits right on top of the grass. Is a great place to go out and play and you never have to wait on people pace of play is always fantastic
Nice Course
A very nice, fairly short track with some challenging holes and then some that were very straight forward. They had gotten a lot of rain the night before so it was cart path only, therefore a lot of walking which made for a bit longer day. Greens were in good shape as was most of the course. Being my first time there one item I found odd was that you make the turn between hole 10 and 11. I will go back for sure now that I know my way around. Staff was great and saved me some money over the golf now rate!

On the easy side
Been here several times. This course helps stroke my ego as it is easier than most other courses I play in the area. The course is in good shape and pace of play is good when you go in non peak hours.
Great staff, great course
Played here 6 times, shot my two personal best rounds here as well. Justin who works in the pro shop is great, very accommodating. Will be going back for many more great rounds of golf.
