Greens were in very good condition; and fast. Fairways are in their winter dormancy but playable; not all hard pan.

staff n course were great, but the pace was a little slow but not snail like so in all was a a great time.

Played for the first time and enjoyed the round. The course is as previously stated in very good condition. My only comment or complaint is why I used the same club on 4 of the 5 par 3s. I unfortunately found the bunkers to be in great shape, lol. The staff treated like old friends. The patio was a great place for a drink after the round. We will be back often while we're staying in the San Antonio area.

This course is in wonderful condition right now. They've put in a ton of work on their bunkers, and greens and fairways are in great shape as always. Pace. Was very good for a Sunday.

Course is fun to play and does not play very long or too difficult. Water hazards on several holes, but not too many to make it so difficult. Staff members accommodated needing to add 1 more player after I booked. Worth the drive from san antonio, especially for the cost. A more laid back golf course and pro shop/dining area very clean and a lot of options.

I have played this course several times in the last 5 years and never had the course backed up as badly as this . There were 12 carts waiting at the first tee at 1pm . We had a confirmed tee time at 1pm and yet others said they had a “standing “ tee time at 1pm . To make matters worse there was no starter to sort things out . After we convinced a group of 8 golfers that we had a 1pm tee time they let our 3some go ahead . Then they hit into our group the entire round . I hope this is not the norm going forward or I will take this course off of our play list .

Pay attention to hole layout, especially the front 9. The 2nd hole is a sharp dogleg left to a blind island green. From his backyard, a local resident told me where the hole was, as I couldn't find it. Also 2 hidden water hazards on hole 5 on each side of the fairway. Course was hilly and fun. Greens were slow and a little patchy.

I have been playing this course for years. I love the layout because its not too difficult and if you are hitting the ball well you can post a low round. The course is in good shape but the greens were very slow. Not sure if they had just over seeded or not. Still was a fun round.

I love this course for the facility and the value. A little distant for me but worth the drive. Normally, the staff is very friendly .I had a day off and went on a Tuesday for the first time and was a witness to some unpleasant interaction from the manager/owner? While I was not the target of the verbal abuse, the middle-aged woman with short white hair was very abusive to the staff and very vocal about Golf now customers. Really a shame because I have never had a bad day there. I usually play on the weekends, so I've never run into this before.

The Alsatian is a friendly recreational course for the average golfer, Not too difficult, and can usually play a round in about 4 hours for four people.

I enjoy playing the course every time. Staff is always nice and friendly. Enjoy the people that play there.

This course is worth playing, fairways were in very good shape and greens were excellent. Staff is very friendly and you can’t go wrong for the price.

It was a last minute idea to play golf. Went to the website and saw an amazing hot deal price that we couldn't pass up. When we arrived, the staff greeted us with a big smile and were very courteous! Since tee time was at 12:28 p.m. decided to have lunch and the food was great! The course was in great shape. Bunkers looked great-fortunate not to have landed in any of them. Course has it's challenges - water in very weird and unexpected places. Had a wonderful day with some wonderful friends.

The Alsation has a very good pace of play and is quite enjoyable. Go out and have some fun!
