About
Alsatian GC is an 18-hole with water in play. Front side fairly open and flat, almost links type play. Hole 2 surrounded by waterways and bunkers. Back side is hilly and has lots of trees. Super finishing hole with a tree in center of uphill fairway.
Throughout the course you will find challenging and beautiful fairways lined with trees and Spanish Dagger. The course also offers distance wedge game range, practice bunkers, three-level putting green, and a pre-round putting green.
Lodging: The Alsatian Inn is located approximately two miles from the club. A very nice facility, it has ninety rooms, a swimming pool, and a really good restaurant. Children under the age of fourteen stay free.
Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown on Highway
90 West to Castroville. But worth the trip.... Take Highway 90 West through Castroville; turn right at the blinking light just past the Alsatian Inn; veer left on CR 4516. Course is 2.5 miles down on the right.

Great Staff and Course
Friendly staff, good restaurant, fair and open course.
Summer heat is starting to show
I love this course. Always a good value. The lack of rain is starting to affect the fairways and the green speeds are inconsistent but overall conditions are still good.
Summer heat is BRUTAL! It is causing so many issues. We have maintained the course and it is good condition. We have a great maintenance department! Thank you for the awesome review. We appreciate it! We look forward to your return visit.

Best public course in the area
I really enjoy playing Alsatian. The course let’s you play through your bag. Fairways and greens in amazing condition given this un Godly heat we’re experiencing.
And Julianna’s is not to be missed for the post round libations and great food.

All time low score
Played with Don (Marshall) and Dale, had a fantastic time. Lots of encouragement and team support. Starter, who I've met before, pushed (in a good way) to the tee box and made for a smooth round of golf. Very few times were we held up. Greens are some of the best in the Metropolitan area. Great job!

Much improved greens
The course was in great shape. The greens were so much better than my last round. The restaurant is absolutely incredible !! The food is 5 star good and the menu’s choices are a great surprise ! Treat yourself to a meal after your round, you can thank me later :)

Good course
Was wondering why the guys in front of me where standing around waiting to tee off on 1. Found out the group in front of them were late. Seems to me the group that was there and ready should go! The guys that are late ….fit them when they finally get there. Is this difficult?
Nice round
We played on fathers day. not to bad fairways could use some sand and water. some lies are just too tight. (not enough grass) I like it my wife didnt.
