Good course to have a chill time
It was a rainy day but still managed to complete all 18 holes, would be a much better experience if it was a dry day but that’s Houston weather for you
Rain out
Arrived at 1030 and it was raining! waited an hour still raining! Unable to play! there is no easy way on this site to ask for a rain out refund! I would like to be showed how to request a rain out refund or is this the avenue for requesting a refund?
After the Rain!
Considering that the course had 2 1/2 inches of rain the night before, the course was in pretty good playing condition. Cart path only, but that was to be expected. Greens were good, fairways were good and unfortunately, the rough was fairly wet. Overall, the course was definitely playable and we enjoyed our round. They are putting a lot of effort in making the course a place to experience.
Nice course, friendly staff
Course was in excellent condition, nice layout and greens rolled true. A great time and staff made it even better.
A bit disappointing
Course looked like they were training all new greens crew. For months. Dead spots on greens and fairways, weeds growing on tee boxes and around greens, no discernable rough/fairway differences on a lot of holes. The greens had also just been VERY heavily sanded, so hopefully once that sets they're easier to putt on. The layout of the course isn't terrible, just really hard to get past how rough the conditions are. Also no concessions mondays or tuesdays is less than ideal.
Great Value
Teeing off at 8:00 on a Saturday for $40 can’t get beat by much. Played the round in 4 hours. Course was in great shape. Greens were in good condition. Will definitely be playing here again for that price.
Nice course, great value
The course is in good shape and a lot of fun to play. You cannot beat the price and the fast pace of play.
Good, Could be Better
I like playing this course & enjoy the GN special rates. The new cart path concrete was a needed improvement & made the drive a lot smoother. Fairway drainage is still an issue & no water stations are a hot topic. Also, there’s enough players during the week to have a Marshal & drink cart available. Greens were in good shape.
Course was relatively dry
We have had a lot of rain the last few days. Today was cart path only, but the only parts holding water was near the edges and where it had run off the greens. The middle of the fairway was in good shape and the greens were in good shape. It was a good day.
Good bang for your buck
Bit of a drive from the Houston area but very enjoyable course to play.
Good round of golf
Course was in excellent condition considering all the rain we had last week.
Serene Experience
Super quiet course, well kept fairways, tee boxes and greens. This course keeps getting better, good job guys, keep it up!
