Stonebridge at Newport

Course greens are horrible. They have tire tracks and mud spots on them. Not a $40 course until that's fixed.

This course is on a nice piece of land and has great potential. However, there is zero effort being put into making this a nice course. The fairways have way too many dirt patches and areas where there is barely grass. You are left hitting off of the dirt after hitting the fairway. The greens are not well maintained at all. Stopped at halfway house to get a hotdog....it was cold. Finally, they allowed a group of 6 (yes 6!) to play the back 9. I left after hole 15. Lot of potential at this course but they have work to do.

Greens & Cart path need some work. Overall the course was in decent condition. Carts were clean & ran well. Hopefully the water cans will return soon. Lower Hot Deal prices would also be appreciated.

First time that I have played here in three to fours years. I always liked the course layout. I got one of the Hot Deals price off Golf Now. For the price no complaints. Will be playing the course again next week.

I like the open and long fairways. The greeens are a little more challenging than i'm use to. Extremely fast.

Fairways real rough, should have been half as much to play!!!!

The fairways were being aerated and course was quite wet from recent rain. Most greens were in good condition. Layout is interesting. Under better conditions, I can envision this course offering a great day of golf. Staff is very friendly.

Course was in overall good shape the greens were fast but they started airing the fairways they only had a couple done by time I finished but I’m sure whole course will be done in the next day or so and will be bumpy for a few days or so. This use to be my home course and enjoy playin it now and again and for the price it’s not bad at all y’all go get em.

Got to play with nice lady name Lynn from Canada but course conditions in need of some loving! Greens inconsistent - staff lawn on tee box for 14 of 18 holes and did not stop mowing while we teed off.

I have been playing here for a number of years, I believe this used to be a private club back in the day (Newport Country Club) so the layout itself is really nice . The owners have definitely stepped it up over the past couple of years, the course is in the best shape it's been in years, even with the recent freeze. This is a good course for anyone due to the various tee boxes. The Par 5's are a lot of fun and there are some challenging holes, especially #9 (tough). A lot of risk/reward type holes and #18 is a great finisher. The carts are pretty new and really nice. The course really needs to be marshaled on most weekends, that is my only criticism but the pace of play on 2/27 was perfect. We started at 12:33 and got about 34 holes in before dark. Definitely a place to recommend. Price is right for us senior golfers and easy to get tee times. Need to keep the local kids off of the fairways while people are playing.
