Stonebridge at Newport

Greens were in pretty good shape as opposed to previous times. Fairways and rough in good condition as well. They are doing a great job of getting the course back into good shape! Staff is really cool and I love playing this course every time! Great price for the course definitely recommend 💪🏽

Tee boxes were worn down, most of the fairways had been ripped up (under construction), most of the greens were all sprouted and uncut. (Imagine chicken pox)

Terrible conditions. Pace of play was easy.

Arrived 30 minutes before even though it was raining tremendously. When we asked if we could reschedule they said no, and that we couldn't cancel cause golfnow would call them and they would say it wasn't closed even though nobody was out on the course. We waited to see if it would die down, and it didn't. They simply said. Sorry. Thought luck.

Played for first time in Years. Loved this place back in late 70’s early 80’s but it has really gone downhill. It appears to be on an upswing but lots of work still needed.

Greens had some issues but for the most part held well and putted great.

Fairways need treatment…

Listen when you drive to Crosby to play golf, you’re not expecting Augusta national but at the same time you would like the staff to be a little courteous and friendly. Instead, they act like you are inconveniencing them..

Like hey why did you people show up and ruin our day? The guy working behind the counter was the biggest jerk in the whole world terrible Customer Service..

Newport was a great track lots of fun holes. Greens were well maintained, and fairways were lush

First time here, thought I’d give it a try. Slow play, course layout and conditions were pretty basic/average. Won’t be back.

Pretty, tree lined fairways. Lots of bunkers - I found many of them! In decent shape. Some bad spots on the greens, but overall better than some other nearby courses. Fairways are hard and a little thin, but not bad. Low shots will roll a long ways. Tee boxes are hard as rock. This course is a nice challenge with interesting hole layouts. I'll be back.

The course was pretty good. House lined fairways for most of the holes. Fairways not bad. Greens were ok. Not sure if weather had anything to do with the conditions of the greens but some had tiny grass islands that made the greens bumpy when putting . Over all not bad. Would come and play again. Even for the hour drive.
