Belterra Casino Golf Club
About
Belterra Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio and it has been ranked as one of the top 20 casino golf courses in the country. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. The challenging layout takes you through a scenic landscape of rolling hills covered with thousands of trees and several sparkling lakes. Elevation changes throughout the golf course provide challenges as well as scenic views of the Ohio River and Log Lick Creek. The course has fast greens and well manicured fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes but just as tricky are the imposing bunkers that are strategically placed along the greensides. Included in the round at Belterra G.C. are unlimited practice balls to use on the driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practice bunker.

I enjoy playing here
I enjoy the course, seems like I play it almost, once a week since the weather broke.
Best Course in Indiana
Tom Fasio is the best golf designer in the US. Love the layout. Best course in Indiana.
Indiana’s Finest
Simply the best course in Indiana. Couple that with the $31 green fee and played in under 4 hours, it’s the best deal going.
Winter Golf
Belterra for less than , great deal, greens were only problem but it was March Golf, Ben the cart attendant was fabulous. Fellow golfers, it’s proper etiquette to tip , he was the best guy anyone in our group has ever had take care of our cart and bag
Fair and great layout
One of my favorite courses because of the design and layout. Can’t wait till sunny days make the fairways and greens even better than they are now!
Still winter wet conditions
Beautiful day to play for March. Cart path only. Friendly staff. Course was ok for March. Maintenance workers everywhere getting it into shape for the summer. Still wet from the rain the day before. Great price on groupon.
Belterra Review
Good course in good condition. The tee box markers had been removed for winter. ( I guess). Greens were wet and no effort was made to dry them. Overall a good day at a good course. Remains a little expensive even though it is winter.
Better Day.....
Well I have played Belterra for the last 12 years. The course conditions have fallen on hard times from its original Fazio design. The casino should consider closing the course for 12 months to bring it back to a respectable condition.
Besides the condition is the rate of play. No ranger enforcement for at least 5-6 years. the last dozen plus times I have played this course it is a 4.5 - 6.5 hour round. 4.5 hour round is rare. I hope the casino is willing the spend the money to save this fine course. I will return in a couple years to see if it has improved. Good luck BT
Disappointing
Nice layout with some really good holes but the course conditions were not good from tee to green. To be fair, the area has gotten more rain than usual but I would have expected much better conditions.
One of the best
This course is one of the top 3 in the Louisville -Cinn area
Will return
Very nice staff and facilities. Only down was path only but not surprising after a night of rain. Still course was in great shape and very playable.
Our Favorite course in No. Kentucky
The only suggestion I would make is there are a few par 3's which are cart path only which are extremely hilly and one other par 4 which need to allow carts.Other than this it is by far our favorite course.
One of Indiana's best
I had the pleasure of playing this track this past week and it was an outstanding course. The layout is one of the best in the state of Indiana as it is picturesque and captures your complete attention on every tee box. The course is very difficult and being in the fairway is a must if you want to score well. The greens were very firm and covered in sand during my round would be the one let down for the round. The staff was extremely friendly. They have a wonderful establishment with the casino, hotel and course. It is a must play for anyone in the tri-state area.
Poor upkeep, terrible greens and fairways, overpriced!
First the driving range was difficult to find grass to hit off, then the greens are in the poorest shape I have ever seen for what was supposed to be a very nice course. Ball marks everywhere, grass was very thin, almost looking diseased, many spots where people were dragging their feet and leaving spike gashes.. The fairways have far too many bare spots and unfilled divots. A couple spots there were skid marks from carts in the fairways, like some idiots were trying to destroy the course! When I arrived an employee loaded my clubs and set everything in the cart, I gave a fair tip. When I finished we had to pick up on #18 because of a thunderstorm. Stood in clubhouse until downpour was over, already got soaked. My wife used the locker room to shower, the hair dryer didn't work and there were no towels. When I went out to get my clubs there were 4-5 employees there cleaning the carts, not one person offered to assist me in taking my two golf bags to my car or even offered to wipe them off. I got a great price for this course but left feeling it was overpriced. I failed to mention the pace of play was horrendous, group behind us hit into us two holes in a row. Once while we were in clear view. We had to wait on every shot on the back 9. No ranger to assist moving groups along. If you get this course as a "comp" have fun but be careful. If you pay cash to play, it is a $30 course at best! Golf Advisor missed the rating for this course! I play many very good courses and this course is not one of them. I would never replay this one.
