About
Belterra Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio and it has been ranked as one of the top 20 casino golf courses in the country. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. The challenging layout takes you through a scenic landscape of rolling hills covered with thousands of trees and several sparkling lakes. Elevation changes throughout the golf course provide challenges as well as scenic views of the Ohio River and Log Lick Creek. The course has fast greens and well manicured fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes but just as tricky are the imposing bunkers that are strategically placed along the greensides. Included in the round at Belterra G.C. are unlimited practice balls to use on the driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practice bunker.

Put this one on your bucket list!
My wife and i are average golfers. I was a little worried about losing a dozen golf balls after reading about how difficult this course is. All that worry for nothing! This is a fantastic course that caters to all skill levels. The holes are laid out in a way that forces you to play smart. Bunkers on many fairways will capture long drives that would be a reward on any other course. Each shot needs to be planned out and executed with precision. The course isn't so difficult that its not enjoyable. Actually it adds to the experience. I would recommend this course and i will definitely return to play it again.
Greens fees include: cart, 18 holes, use of towel, cooler with cold water and bucket of range balls.
Pace of play was excellent. Took 4 1/2 hrs to play 18.
And we're hackers!!
Belterra in Autumn
Great layout on a very difficult course. Throw in some prevailing river valley wind, and this course is plenty hard. Greens a little bumpy and not completely repaired from aeriation. No drink cart and no halfway house = thirsty and hungry golfers. But I'll be back with a cooler and snacks.
great time
Had an excellent time. No wait, everyone is friendly and a challenging course. Stayed the night at the hotel made the trip all the better.
Class act
Total private course experience from a public course. From the complimentary range balls to the towel and iced down water in the cart. GPS system. Plenty of water, sand traps, forced carries, and doglegs. As long as 7000 yards from the tips, to 5500 for the seniors, and 3 in between. A top quality experience. Fairways were lush, greens were fast, but not unfair. Leaves were changing color, Beautiful scenery. Got a great rate on Golfnow! Will diffidently return.

See above. For a weekday round, the five hour time duration was a bit extreme. There seemed too many golfers on the course. Everything else was spectacular.
SOMEWHAT DISSAPOINTED
CART WENT DEAD ON HOLE 15. NO RANGERS TO PUSH 2 OR 3 GROUPS PLAYING A SCRAMBLE AHEAD OF US AND THEY WERE TAKING 20 MINUTE TO PLAY A HOLE. COULDN'T GET ALL 18 IN.
Review of Belterra Golf
We enjoyed our round of golf at Belterra Casino. Some of the fairways and rough had some bare places. Over all we had a fine day.
well maintained
This course is worth the drive. It was in great shape. The staff was friendly and helpful and we couldn't have picked a better day. We found the greens very challenging with the undulations and the hard to read breaks. Now that we have played it once we will be better prepared for the next round. After the round we had a wonderful dinner

Nice day if golf. A few patchy spots on fairways and greens, but overall in good condition. Would play this course again & again.
Mixed Bag
Very good and challenging layout, however the course conditions have been compromised by lack of rain in the area. Pace of play was pathetic, it would be helpful if someone from the staff drove around and checked, even after prompted to by customers on the course. They even allowed a fivesome to play, which along with a slow foursome, backed up play, yet they contend that 4 hours and 45 minutes is the norm. That's one of the major problems in golf today, slow play and for a course to promote slow play is unacceptable. The course is great, but avoid dealing with Mark in the pro shop. Extremely rude and condescending, especially if you're playing there through GolfNow.
Sand traps
This is my favorite course within 50 miles of Cincinnati. The only complaint I have is the condition of their sand traps. They are basically unplayable. I know it had rained the day before but they have been bad all year.
Not the usual
I always look forward to a round here as I like the layout and the course is always in great shape.however this time around the course was beat up,bare patches in the fairways greens that looked to barely be hanging in mower clippings everywhere,in short just not what I'm used to at this track
Difficult but enjoyable
The course is well maintained. The greens were in great condition. It is always a pleasure to play there because you get to use every club in your bag.

Can't say enough about this course. People and course where great!
Tough but fair.
Playing this course requires you to use just about every club in the bag. Course was in great condition, with the exception of ball marks on the greens. That is up to every player to repair so the next player has a great putting surface to work with. The staff was helpful before and after the round. The cool towels were a great touch.
Nifty course
Temp mid 80's. great for end of June. Quick drive form Louisville. Love the layout. would have rated course conditions , excellent, if only they had zoysia fairways. Some kind of hybrid bermuda. tight lies throughout. Greens were true, fast , undulating and multi tiered. probably a fluke, but had group behind hitting into my group all day, and we were'nt slow. could've used a marshall today. 4.5 hours to play. But will return.

The best course in the TeI-state area. The staff is wonderful course was in outstanding shape .A must play and stay at Belterra.
