About
Belterra Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio and it has been ranked as one of the top 20 casino golf courses in the country. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington. The challenging layout takes you through a scenic landscape of rolling hills covered with thousands of trees and several sparkling lakes. Elevation changes throughout the golf course provide challenges as well as scenic views of the Ohio River and Log Lick Creek. The course has fast greens and well manicured fairways. Water hazards come into play on several holes but just as tricky are the imposing bunkers that are strategically placed along the greensides. Included in the round at Belterra G.C. are unlimited practice balls to use on the driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practice bunker.

Got a great deal
Great deal off of Golfnow. Ended up as a sigle (ok by me) played in 2hr 50 mins. Course was in fantastic shape (especially for December) except for some sandy top dressing of the greens that had been performed. If I could get all my play there for what I paid - you would never find me at any other golf course.
The course was in excellent condition.
The staff was extremely friendly, beginning with the guy picking up your golf bag to the staff behind the desk. The course was in great shape, especially considering the time of year. I would definitely recommend this course.

The course tee's had just been airrated and had lots of plugs on them. The first couple of tee's were not even set-up.
The course hole layouts were superb and the greens were excellent. The tee boxes were just airrated and had many plugs on them. The pace of play was a little slow and had finished the round in almost 5 hours! Other than that I would recommend this course and will probably return again.

Course is very challenging and is in great shape. GPS in the carts helps so much giving you a fly over and tips of each hole you come to. Great track
Getting into fall conditions
End of summer is kicking in. The course is in pretty good condition. They have done the small tine punch on the greens, it doesn't effect your putts though. Greens were running at a medium pace. I don't know how late in the year they will actually do the full green punches, but I would guess it would be mid to late October.

Greens fairly fast and rolled fairly well
i would have given it 5 stars but the GPS on the cart was nice to have but not useful when the tee box was away from cart path and had around 6 holes where i was guessing, wish i would have brought my GPS. Also, not one yardage marker to be found on holes when it was cart path only

With $40, and course layout, and condition.

Great golf course
The course at Belterra is one of the best courses that i' ve played . We were greeted by friendly staff , the course is very challenging but quite fair . The fairways and greens were in pristine condition . The only negative comment that I have is the pace of play . There should have a ranger to speed things up a bit
Great course, wow factor missing
The course was in great shape for the time of year. It offered challenging holes, but it just didn't have the wow factor I was expecting to see. For a championship course and the price, I expected a little more. I'm a very high handicap, and relatively new to golf, so maybe my expectations were too high.
This course has excellent scenery.
Overall I believe the course was a decent place to play but needs a few changes to make me want to return. The bunkers looked nice but played poorly because there was so much soft sand in them it was impossible to get a decent lie even if your ball rolled into one of them. Also, there were a few holes that were designated as cart path only which made them difficult to play. They were not doing this due to wet conditions and the cart paths on these holes were well above the level of the fairway which made climbing up and down the hills tricky on a dry day. I can only imagine trying them when things are a little slippery or if I were someone that had difficulty getting up and down significant slopes.

Love this course always in great shape range balls included as well as GPS. Nice location as well.
Great layout and super condition
This is one of my favorite courses in the entire state. The Tom Fazio design has excellent balance between difficult and not so difficult holes. Most of the holes have trouble on one side but plenty of room to play safe on the other. Every time I have played the course it has been in excellent shape.
good track
the course is in good shape for this time of year, the weather has helped most courses out. The greens were smooth and med. fast. with med. length rough. Pace of play was slow, but it is a casino course so I guess you expect that. There wasn't much play on the afternoon I played, just a couple of slow groups that I saw.

Need rangers - VERY slow play! Pro shop guys were great; woman outside who greeted us was nasty - must have been having a bad day.
