Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Wheel/Grind Course
About
Nestled among the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf and also an 18-hole, executive course. The championship holes are divided into three distinct nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Wheel/Grind Course is heavily forested with many elevation changes throughout. The back nine, the Grind, is Mill Run Golf Club's newest layout and it is also the shortest of the three. Although it is shorter in length, towering trees and doglegs incorporated into its layout demand accurate shot-making in order to do well.

This course presents good challenge
Condition of course very good. Greens running slower than usual. Lay out a good test of your skill. Price with cart was reasonable. Enjoy playing here.
Went to complete s*** this year
Normally a huge fan of Mill Run in the past, play at least 10 rounds there every season. Always felt like the conditions and maintence were fantastic for the money. This time around though... Much higher green fees (as expected with the current pandemic) but three condition was ridiculous. The fairways were dry and yellow. Weeds all over the tee box and fairways. The rough around the green was basically just dirt. In top of that, every green was basically unplayable due to I guess mating season of beetles there. They were littered all over the course and on the greens. Couldn't put without hitting a pile of them. Really disappointing for this course. Wouldn't go back even if it were free.
This course is not worth $100,
This course is sub par at best. The Grist is boring and lacks flow. At no time do I stand on a tee box and say, “wow, this is nice”. The weather of late has been hot so I get the brown grass, but the over growth of weeds and thorns was unsightly. The Wheel was a little greener and gave a little more challenge, but still nothing to stand back and say “ nice course” I won’t be back. Especially at $100 a round, I’ll save my money and go elsewhere.
GGRG
My third time playing course this year and as with the
other two enjoyed my round. Was matched up with a threesome and while we did not speak alot (they spoke
limited English) still enjoyed myself. Played in a vert reasonable time of just under four hours
Disappointed
The fact that they put you on the Grind course before 7:30 am which RGolf now times ruins the day. The course is a joke. Will not be back for that pairing ever again
Needs some TLC
Nice course, wonderful staff but the fairways need some TLC. 1 hole had many geese all over and a result, goose poop everywhere. The rest of the holes were fine but needed some extra upkeep.
Nice Track
Mill Run is a good course to play. Greens are in excellent shape and roll nicely, could be a bit faster, maybe slow due to heavy watering?
Rough areas are dry outside of fairways as are many older clubs ive golfed the last couple of weeks. To be expected during this heatwave, some other small dryspots here and there. Appears critters hit the course in spots like my front lawn.
Excellent covid protocols in place they seem to care about there costumers and who enters the property with someone stationed at the main gate. Not many, if any clubs are doing a gate check in. I felt safer here than other clubs in that manner.
Overall course is in good shape good value Ill be back and i look forward to seeing greener days after we get some real rain.
Mill run
This course use to be in great shape and well respected.
Now the greens are poor, fairways are burnt and rough is dormant. Greens are running about 6.
Unfortunately this course is gone in my books.
