Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Wheel/Grind Course
About
Nestled among the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf and also an 18-hole, executive course. The championship holes are divided into three distinct nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Wheel/Grind Course is heavily forested with many elevation changes throughout. The back nine, the Grind, is Mill Run Golf Club's newest layout and it is also the shortest of the three. Although it is shorter in length, towering trees and doglegs incorporated into its layout demand accurate shot-making in order to do well.

Challenging but enjoyable course
Not a single hole is easy here and don't be fooled by short par 4 as there are reasons for it.
Green can make you frustrated but that's part of fun, right? Enjoy!
Good outing
A very enjoyable round of golf. Was matched up with
a threesome who were fun to play with. The first two holes on the Wheel (back nine) are two of the toughest holes on any course. Played in four hours which is very good for weekend play. My second time playing here this season and will gladly return
Well designed course
The course condition was very good. Mill Run is fair but will test your abilities. The greens were running slower than usual which improved scoring.
Given the time of year, the course was very dry and not well maintained. A lot of the fairways were damaged due to “maintenance”. Grass was very yellow and dry.
Consideration
My partner had an injured finger. He could not play more than nine holes, we quit after nine and asked for a credit for nine holes with cart, were refused...deferred to Golfnow for refund. That is annoying when the event provider cannot simply judge, decide, and issue the credit. They said I have to approach Golf now, a waste of time. Quick to take the mon ey, but a chore to try to recover it.
The staff was very unreasonable and did not follow covid protocol as set by the province. They had their own rules for social distancing.

And did not allow us to play. Very unhappy, the course and their staff sucks especially the front gate guy Brendan. I want my money back as they were very disrespectful and racist. I feel if I was white I would’ve been let in. I will take credits as well. I personally will never play this course again due to customer experience
Mill Run
enjoyed round very much. pace of play was excellant 3 1/2 hours which is usually unheard of for weekend play.
First time playing Mill Run, overall the course was in good condition, apparently this was the first week non-members were able to play. Greens were in great shape, course staff was informing Covid rules right from the time we entered the course. Will be playing this course again. Excellent course for the $
Nice course
Only one problem. No course score cards given out due to covid but there is no hole picture at the tees or yardage on the signs. No problem handing over food or snacks though. Seems incongruous and not having golfed there before, it was difficult to play blind on many holes.
Was very cautious of Covid
They don’t supply scorecards. Asked a bunch of questions pertaining to Covid. It’s fine that they are screening but I felt it was too much personally. Conditions were average. Would play again however.
Nice and open fairway
A good course with lots of open spaces. Conditions were good but some spots were dry Course took care with social distancing reminders. Overall, great experience.
