About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Somewhat disappointed
First time playing here and the pace of play was slow ( foursome in front of us where not mindful of pace of play and the marshals did not do anything to encourage them to speed up). The greens were in bad shape, lots of ball marks that were not repaired. And for an executive course, I’m surprise that golf carts were allowed, and that players where riding them through much of the course - tire makers were clearly visible.
On a positive note, the course was challenging if your played from the tips, but also forgiving and fun for newer and young golfers ( played with the family).
I’d considered going again, but I’m not rushing to play there again any time soon.
Great course to work in your irons
The greens are in amazing condition definitely would come back
Great short-game test
The variety of holes, the tricky greens and the ever-present wind makes this a real test for your short game. One tip: bring a few extra balls. The fescue is nasty and there’s more water than you’d think.
Nice course but no masks
Shocked that the staff weren’t wearing masks - drink cart girl, staff at the small bar beside the pro shop, the starter.
The round was quite jammed up - at one point 3 foursomes deep. Expensive for a par 3 - same price as a full sized course, but it is convenient.
That being said, course was nice, well kept.

Greta little place. Too much money for what it is
Great little wedge practice round. Hi he tee boxes were obviously torn up….and the course is pricey for what it is
Over valued par 3
Course is a price gauging par 3 made to look like an ordinary 18 hole course. Had a single par four for the 1st and 18th hole and the rest was all par 3s. Spent 80$ per person for 18 and a cart when you can go to actual courses for the same price. Will not be attending again
