About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Great greens, links style course.
Great greens, links style course. Great to practice using every club in the bag.

very comfortable to spend 3 hours playing 18 holes.
well maintained course and very green.
I played at other standard courses, I feel this course is even better maintained and well organized.

The staff were great. Course was in great shape and the drinks girl came around frequently.

Solid Par 3+ course
A very pretty and challenging par 3 (and 2 par 4s) course. Course was in great condition, fairways kept tight and a well kept rough... sand however was the only thing not up to the rest of the course standards.
It is a surprisingly challenging course, greens tricky and often tough pin placements can easily catch you off guard.
First time playing the course and I would recommend it for all skill levels as a way to shake off the rust for returning golfers or for newbies looking to up their iron-game.
Golf Now issue
The people at the course we're fantastic allowing me to play the day before because when I originally booked I have made a date mistake and the confirmation went to junk folder. So I did not get a confirmation so rebooked for different day and got a confirmation to my inbox. 2 days later went to print my tickets and noticed the first one went to junk. Tried calling golf now and cancelled but could not get through. To cancel first booking. Bad customer service by GolfNow. Turnberry was fantastic and understood.
Very nice par 3
I was surprised with the quality of the course relative to the price. Obviously it's a par 3 but it is maintained and kept just as nice as eagle's nest. Some pretty challenging pin placements and greens in general. There were no blue tees when I played which would have been nice.
2020 First Round in Canada
Played with my 12 yr old son and another couple. First time at the course - excellent layout. The par 3's are challenging and tight. Rough is REALLY rough! The greens were challenging - but ran true. Overall considering only 2 par 4's and the rest par 3's - the challenge was still there. My son loved it - and we will be playing it again soon.
