About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Golfer Reviews
Nice walking course, greens and pin placement always a challenge, if you need practice on iron work this is a great course for this, course well maintained, has a range , also nice club house restaurant if you want to do a nine and dine.
Great Course with lots of par 3's
Only two par 4 holes so if you are big on driving then his course isnt for you...tee'ed off with a PW on 9 if the 18 holes. Dont need a cart...walking is perfect for this course.
A little links!
Played Turnberry for the first and the course was amazing. For a small executive course designed to be challenging, the glove most certainly fit. The course, facility, staff, and restaurant were great! The only issue I had with the spot was the driving range was closed before we teed off. Pretty annoying!
Fivesomes?
Ran into a few fivesomes during my round. I feel like the shop staff don’t really have an idea what is happening on the course which can lead to POP issues.
Lack of Trees
This course is challenging but not too difficult. The layout is good. The distance between each hole is a steep hill to climb which is a good workout. The only thing missing is trees. There is no tree on the course which makes it very hot because there's nowhere to hide under while you wait for your turn. I got sun burn even playing in the morning.
Overall, the course is in great condition and it is beautiful.
Short but Mighty
Don’t overlook this course because of the lack of Par 5’s. It’s a good challenge and has helped to sharpen my iron play and short game - areas that will reduce my handicap. It is always a pleasure to play this course.
Their “Youth Served” is a great deal - golf, cart, burger and beer for one set price depending on your age.
Extremely friendly staff
Staff is extremely friendly. A gentleman greeted us in the parking lot and asked if we required push carts. We did and then he picked them up and brought them to us in the parking lot. The course had a lot of hills and valleys. Every hole was set up so you couldn't see the tee boxes from the other holes. It felt like you had the entire course to yourself. A very enjoyable experience.
Cool course
I believe most distances are seound 150 yards. One green was shared between two holes, but seperate flags of course. Somehow i shoot to the other hile flag 8.
Used driver once on last one.
Short but challenging
First time playing this course, and it will not be my last. Fantastic conditions. Greens are near perfect. It's 16 par 3's and 2 par 4's but still get to use almost every club in the bag. Definitely recommend checking this course out.
Offer great challenge
Very challenging executive course with 2 par 4 and long par 3 with hazards of all kinds, water, bunkers etc to test your skills. Great course to prepare you for championship course. The grass in the rough are quite long making it tough to get a clean shot.
Overall
This was a super fun course to play as a beginner looking for a challenge and as a golfer looking to improve their par three game. Staff was a little patronizing after the first hole because we drove the cart on the fairway leading up to the green, but that’s ok, it was the 1 in two chances on a par 4 to do so during the game and we shrugged it off.
Will return to work in my short game again when I feel like being challenged!!!
Great as always
I took advantage of a discount on GolfNow. The course was wet from the very wet spring but the staff has done a great job keeping the course very playable.
Great course for Par 3
Beautiful course, didn’t know about it till purchasing coupons on UnderPar.
Would play there again.
Soggy but enjoyable
It had been raining and being early in the season, the course was water logged and stayed that way for the entire round.
It was my first time playing it and still enjoyed the course. Looking forward to playing it in better conditions.
Very scenic course.
The strange thing about the course in the lack of a turnaround at the clubhouse after hole 9
