Turnberry Golf Club
About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

1 st hole par 4 Photo submitted by kyu462 on 06/09/2019
Course is very well maintained.
Very impressed by the condition of this course. Greens meticulously maintained. The windy conditions added to the challenge of this course.
Rainy day turned out great
This course is always in in excellent shape. Bit wet on this day only due to lots of rain prior to our round
I didn’t use the off course amenities.
There were a few ball marks on the greens which need attention but, other than that, it was in good shape.
I, especially, liked the challenge regarding chipping and putting.
Beautiful Par 3 Course
16 of 18 holes are par 3. Course is is superb condition. Many of the holes were around the same distance so changing the t off blocks during the round makes for better variety of club use and distances to hit.
Awesome par 3 course
Course was in excellent condition. Best bang for your buck
Golf Date
Even though it was an extremely hot and humid day, it was still very enjoyable. Always love this track. Every club in the bag gets used. Just because it's shorter doesn't mean it's easy.
Turnberry - short but fairly challenging
Friendly staff!
Enjoyed the round, good variety of challenging Par 3s and 2 Par 4s with challenging greens!
Only complaint - very few ball cleaners (only 2 or 3 holes had them) !
Great challenge for executive course
Turnberry has become one of my favourite courses - it's always in great condition every time I've played it. For an executive course, I still get to use every club in the bag. The staff are super friendly. The food in the clubhouse restaurant is excellent too.
Good for short game
Good course for someone who wants to play and improve on short game. Only hole 1 and 18 is Par 4 and the rest are all Par 3. 16 Par 3 holes in a row kinda get annoying. Not playing again.
Course Layout is good and super Customer Service
Thanks and definitely recommend to anyone to play at this course.
Silly Holes
Yes it's an executive course but no tee should be 70 yards from the hole. Par 3's that make you use most of your clubs can be fun, this one is just to short. Bring you PW, SW, Putter... it's all you'll need! The course was in good shape, pace of play is slow.
Great par 3 course
Wanted to work on my iron game and leave the driver at home, so decided to play Turnberry. Great course for that, alot of short par 3's, but enough variety to keep you interested. Course was in great shape, staff was friendly, and price was pretty cheap. Would definitely go back.
Par 3 with tricky greens!
This is a great course to practise your short game. It is relatively easy to get close to the green on every hole, but sinking the putt is definitely a challenge!
