Turnberry Golf Club
About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

1 st hole par 4 Photo submitted by kyu462 on 06/09/2019
Not your typical executive course
Course has high-end features with challenging par 4 on the first and eighteenth holes. The rest are demanding par threes requiring course management and proper club selection. If you hit stray shots, you will most likely not find your ball in the nasty rough.
Overall, a fine test of golf and and a good walk.
A Real Challenge
Tight course. Challenging holes. Excellent executive course. Well groomed and manicured. Professional and clean. Slow but rolling greens
Good time
This was my first round of the year and I really enjoyed Turnberry. It was raining when I started, but the course drained decently. I had a nice time.
Interesting course
Surprisingly challenging for such a short course. Definitely will play again!
Well mainteined and beautiful course
This executive 18 hole course as said short but might, is challenging and good for long iron play.
I recommend this Course to friends and sure to play this course with friends.
Short game gem
Excellent, very challenging course in great condition. Work on your iron shorts, feel around the greens. No room for error, fescue awaits. Greens are phoenomaml.
This course is challenging which is unexpected for an executive course
This course is challenging which is unexpected for an executive course.
The round normally takes 3 to 3 1/2 hours and requires good iron play to hit the greens and then to putt for par which is not always possible
Really fun
Most challenging executive course I've ever played with many elevated tees and greens, especially difficult due to a strong wind throughout the round. Greens were recently aerated but otherwise good shape and very undulating, also deep greenside bunkers are well maintained. Several greens had difficult pin placements either behind bunkers or near hazards. The layout gives a good variety and will require every iron and probably a hybrid or fairway wood or two and possibly your driver on the par 4s. Great choice to play when you don't have time to play a championship course and you won't feel you've missed out on anything. I will definitely play this course several times next season, even considering buying one of the value packages as it's only 15 minutes from my home. Very good value even at regular rate.
Excellent experience
Excellent course for short game. Course was in excellent condition and staff was friendly. I will be playing there again in the future.
Must play
Turnberry is an excellent course that tests all aspects of your game. It is well maintained and the greens are fast and undulating. The staff is friendly and helpful. All in all a great golf experience that's easy to get to.
A gem in Brampton
This beautifully maintained par 3 course maybe short in length for the grip it and rip it crowd, but it is no walk in the park . Each hole is a challenge to anyones iron and putting game, Acurate shots are a must on every hole or you will find trouble and have a tough time making par on any hole. The two par .4 holes are problably rhe easiest holes on the course. Greens are fast and rolling, making every putt a knee knocker. If you don't mind keeping the driver in the bag for the day , then this is a tougher course than it looks but alot of fun to play.
Challenging but fun
My golf was really challenged by this course. It seems short but you really have to take good care and make good swings to do well here. Made me want to come back and face my demons here once again. My Golf Now experience has always been very good with seamless bookings and never any issues around accuracy or reliability. thank you.
My favourite par 3 course
solid course, well maintained, good place to practice your irons and short game.
Improve your shortgame
For those that think that a par 3 course isn't worth it. This course is terrific all-round, you just don't hit driver 14 times! You will hit every other shot, on wonderful holes, extremely well kept, for low money, and be done in less than 3 hours.
Excellent Course - But....
I played this course a few times now. Some might pass right by and write it off. But this is a very good, challenging Par 3. Every hole has something to trip you up. With a great mix of short, medium and long par 3s there is challenge for all skill levels. The layout could make for a tough walk on the really hot days, but a cart certainly isn't a must. If I had to complain about anything it is something that can not be blamed on the course staff. Somewhere along the way many golfers have forgotten course etiquette and don't seem to think they are responsible for repairing ball marks and raking sand traps. I think many courses in a drive to fill tee-times are letting people on the course who just shouldn't be there, or maybe I am just a snob. To the course staff, excellent job in keeping the course in such great shape despite the challenges..
Great course! Friendly people! Poor booking process!
Disappointed that the course did not have my Golfnow registration! Very frustrating for all! Caused major delays adding us and another 2-ball to the roster.
Need to fix your communications.
