Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Decent course, terrible staff, horrible customer service.
Booked on GolfNow, tried to reschedule, attempted to call clubhouse multiple times 3 days in a row, no answer, left 3 messages, nobody ever called back. When finally reach someone after 4 days of calling attempts, they told me that rescheduling was not possible. Whatever, ok, you win, keep my money, but you lost my (and my friends') businesses forever.
More challenging More Fun
Two Par 4 and tons of Par 3, seems easy enough, but greens are fast and holes are strategically placed, equals pay attention on every hole, and stroke. Loved it will try to do it again before end of October.
Hidden Gem
This course was beautifully maintained with a number of challenges. Greens were perfectly kept, and staff was very friendly as well. Pack a couple extra packs of balls though, you’ll need them.

Beautiful Course
Surprised it was almost empty. The training facilities were busy however. (Driving Range/Pitch/Putting)
Only 1st & 18th holes are par 4's but it was fun. Beautiful course. Friendly staff.

Only bummer was that the restaurant and bar are closed on Monday & Tuesday's. The clubhouse is beautiful. I was there a few weeks ago but our round got rained out so we hung around and had a drink. Menu looked good. Will eat there next time.
Good City Course
Couldn't believe that the washrooms on the course were locked & a notice saying they were out of order! Your only option was to walk back to the clubhouse! Sheesh
They should have notified us @ time of booking that the greens were aerated
Would absolutely play again
Had a lot of fun playing this course. Mostly consists of par 3's, but solid course design makes for some challenging holes.
Very well maintained grass
The grass is well maintained. The staff is super friendly , he regularly check on us and asked if we need anything and if we are enjoying the day. Best staff ever

Not a normal course
The course layout is a bit extreme. It’s different from any other courses I have played before. If the ball is off the green by 3 to 5 feet to the side or behind, there is no way you could find the ball. In other words, don’t expect any recovery. Don’t think I will play there again.
