Located in Carrabelle just minutes from the pristine white beaches of St. George Island and Cape San Blas, St. James Bay Resort boasts the only Audubon Signature Sanctuary golf course in the area. It's not an understatement to say that water is the course's most formidable feature. There are 15 lakes throughout the landscape that present a hazard on every hole. Towering pines and colorful flowers accent the scenic parkland as well. In addition to the natural hazards that have been seamlessly incorporated, bunkers were carefully added to strategic locations to make the course more challenging, but they still allow the landscape to truly shine. In addition to the golf course, St. James Bay offers a full practice facility with a driving range, a chipping green with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Ghost Town
This was one of the nicest courses I've ever played. Fairways were nice, greens we're great. Fun and challenging layout.
When we pulled up for a 3:20 hot deal, there were no cars in the parking lot. We played all 18 holes and never saw another golfer the entire time on any hole anywhere. Very odd for a very nice course. We asked a worker where everyone was?.. maybe there was a tournament before us, but no. They said it was a normal day.
Weeds and aeration
Need to get control of the weed I have never seen it this bad and no aeration warning before playing online by GN.

Weeds are coming in around the greens and on and there was no aerification warning. Green needed more sand!
Course has an interesting layout
The course has an interesting layout and the condition were ok. When I arrived they said they did not shoe my tee time in there system. But they charged me less than what Teeoff showed. It is a placement course. If you like hitting your driver, long, this may not be the course for you. Greens were average but they did hold shots pretty well. I would play it again .
First time playing the course and the computer layouts on the cart were very misleading. So many areas where we need to layup didn’t really show on the monitor as swampy or deep rough areas. Very difficult for women (older) that had long areas to hit over and no shorter areas for us to hit over . I think I lost more balls on this course than I did the rest of the week of our vacation.
Tough course
Course is in transition from winter but still in good shape and they have hired a person to come in and make improvements.

Nice layout yet challenging. Conditions were good for time of year. Greens in good condition.

The course is challenging with the carries and water. Greens run true and in decent condition considering the time of year. Overall a gem.
A very hard course but absolutely beautiful! Greens were well maintained as well as the fairways. I stayed in awe at it's beauty.
Great layout
Once again I enjoyed the course. The layout is great. The putting and pace of play were slow but the challenge of the course was ideal. The greens need spraying for the poa annual but all in all it was a great day at st. James bay!
Love the layout
The course is always fun. Great Layout. Pace of play was very slow. Greens need some attention...poa annua needs to be sprayed on the greens! Range, Putting and.chipping areas were nice.
Challenging Layout
The layout is challenging, yet enjoyable. .A few tough holes. Better make sure you a decent driver, there is a lot of carry off the tee.
Great course and quite challenging
We loved the course even if we lost lots of balls. Unfortunate that the grass froze. It will all come back! Resort lile place. We will come back!!!!!

Great Course, Great Resort
Great course that demands accuracy and distance control. The staff was exceptional. The restaurant was great.
