About
Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro sprawls across rolling farmland accented with groves of mature trees. The fairways on the front nine are wide open but they become narrower and tree lined on the back nine. The greens play fast and true and they are also well conditioned. There are not many sand traps to contend with but a smattering of elevation changes throughout the golf course cause an occasional uneven lie. Seasoned golfers looking for a challenge won't find it here but what you will find is a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a quick, casual round that is player friendly enough for beginners. In addition to the course, Cedar Chest Golf Club offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range and a two-tiered practice green.

Singles
The course was fairly crowded but the staff allowed singles to play and no marshal was in the first tee or on the course
Improved Course
This course has improved over the last few years and they are still working on improvements. I said this because the Tee Boxes still needs some work on various holes and you can see the progress at this course.
The course is challenging for all level of golfers. The club house and the patio at the club house is great. If you are going to eat at the turn, you better call your order in at hole 8 to avoid delays. The staff is friendly and they are accommodating.
Ok course
A few of the fairways had dirt in some areas, I was happy that they had a snack/drink cart throughout my game. I wouldn't mind playing again if the price was about 10-15 dollars lower.
I accidentally booked the wrong course
I thought I was booking at Cedar Crest in Dallas, Tx, not the course in Tennessee. I called Tennessee Cedar Creat to let them know of my error. Can you please make sure that I am not charged for the 3 rounds that I erroneously booked? Cedar Crest said they couldn’t do anything about it, that I should contact you. Checking out the website for GolfNow, there is no phone # or email address listed. Thank you, Marilyn Evans
Course Conditions / Expired Drinks
Enjoyed the round although the course conditions were very rough. My wife and I both started experiencing indigestion. We realized the drinks we were served were all expired.
Meh!!
Tee boxes are trash. Fairways are a mix of nice grass and cow pasture grass. Greens slow but in good shape. No Marshall, no cart girl. Multiple groups of 5 or more were seen, including a group of 7. Again. Meh, not impressed.
Lotta potential!
Course has a nice layout. Greens were well maintained the fairways are really bad on multiple holes. It looks like they are making some changes tk the course which is nice.
