Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Blue/Red Course

Too many tee times, pace is glacial, but course is fun for all levels. Greens look banged up but roll real well with consistent speed. Push the spacing to 12 minutes

Play was a little slow at times but love the layout and it’s a great price.

This is a cool course with a unique Scottish layout, challenging depending on the Tee’s you select. Lots of wildlife, water and bunkers, nice practice facilities and clubhouse. A challenging layout but with enough latitude to keep it in play, fast greens, good conditions tee to green. Will definitely return.

So there are a lot of reviews complaining about the pace of play and as a single who joined 3 members, they confirmed that the key is to play before 10:00 am because it’s gong to be a solid 5 hours.

I was shocked to show up at 6:15 am for a 6:36 am tee time because I’m not from FL, but it was DARK when I arrived. Sunrise was 6:54 am. So the shocker is, I wasn’t a part of the first group! Four groups had already teed off! I’m the dark! The parking lots was bustling. Staff was surprisingly chipper given the time of day and it was clear most of the people were members because there was a lot of laughter. So having said that, the three members who made up my foursome were about as nice a group of guys you can hope to be paired with.

Course condition. Excellent. Pace of play. A smooth 3:45. Course is forgiving. Greens rolled great. Did I mention $55! You’re all seeing these crazy Orlando rates! Triple that for a lesser course. Definitely the BEST bargain in town.

You can be a slow golfer, you can be a bad golfer, but you should never be both. Guy ahead of me was and a ball hawk at every water hazard along the way. Course and staff never disappoint for the money but could definitely use a few “player assistants”

Course is always in good condition. Pace of play was slow(5 hours). Never saw a player assistant.

Pace of play was horrible, 5 hour round is not okay. They have signage but no marshals to enforce.

The course is very typical for a Florida course but the green were very quick and consistent from hole to hole

Loved this course for many reasons. Very different, lots of run and quirky! Good value for money. My only misgiving is the occasional group of 5/6 that get put out… and were in front of us.To be fair they didn’t hold us up much… but still slightly frustrating.

30 minute delay to start. Jammed on the course.

That said, great course for the money. Just be prepared for a long day. Solid burgers with their grill!

What a great value. The course is an excellent condition and is very reasonably priced this explains the almost 6 hour round of golf four groups on every tee. Very painful

This course totally surprised me. It is one of the best values in golf. Amazing.

The course is in good shape and the green is well maintained. However, it took 5 hours and 15 minutes to play a round today. The pace is extremely slow.

I feel like I was taken on this choice. $50 would have been fair. Could not score as the greens were horrible. Pro shop said hurricane damage…but the others I played in the same area were WAY better. No offer for future round discount…not shop credit…just took my money like it was peak conditions in peak season. Will never play there again, and my never use Golf Now again as they did not indicate any course issues at the time of booking. So disappointing.
