Fun and challenging course
The only reason for two-star rate of play is because we were behind a scramble outing...would've thought a scramble should've been much faster but not in this case...VERY slow, but still a great course! Highly recommended!
Poor Conditions
The course is just okay, the reviews I read were much better so maybe it was an "off" day. We had to wait in line to check in for 15 minutes because the people in front of us who used Golf Now booked at the wrong course, so we were not able to practice. The course was not in good condition at all, but then again what can you expect for $29.00 rate. We loved the Hermitage though - much much better.
Nice course needs pace of play enforcement.
Beautiful course greens in good shape friendly staff just needs a ranger to enforce pace of play.
Nashville
Nice layout through the hills outside of Nashville . Some beautiful picturesque holes. Rainy day so course was wet but in good condition. Cart path only due to wee conditions. Hills will give you a workout.
I come to Nashville several times a year and.wipp be playing this course again
very fun
Hilly and interesting course that was a lot of fun to play. Mostly in good shape except a few tee boxes and one green. It would be nice if they could better mark yardages on the course but I highly recommend the course.
Course in decent shape
Course was in good shape. Some greens had dead patches which made putting tricky. 4 tee boxes are completely dead
Don't play here
The greens had just been aerated and they were covered in brown sand and not whipped. When you walked on them you actually left footprints due to the amount of sand. They don't water anything so the course was totally dried out due to a lack of rain in the past week...go figure! Sand traps were dirt traps and several fairways were barren. The only good thing was that there some pretty awesome views of the mountains.
Good value
We loved the scenery, the mountains and the imagination that went into creating a golf course in these woods and streams.
course
Nice layout diferent elevations greens in bad shape
complex and woodsy
Good views and some challenging holes. Need to have some local advice. Play was slow but it was a Sunday. The greens were not good.
a fair experience
The course is pretty nice, with lots of beautiful views. The layout was interesting and fun. However, there are almost no yardage markers, and with the elevation changes, we had no idea of the distances for most shots. Also, it was difficult to know exactly where to go when traveling from hole to hole. Many of the cart paths were extremely steep and very long; you want to make sure your brakes work, or it could be a disaster. It was kind of like a roller coaster ride. Also, the day we went, they had plugged and sanded all the greens, which we didn't know about. This distracted from our experience.
Beautiful course. Excellent lay out
Staff extremely polite and friendly. Course in very good shape. Beautiful holes and surroundings. Challenging greens. Looking forward to playing it again.
There's no gambling at Bushwood
Challenging course. Nice greens. A few holes under construction. Course only a few years old but plays well.
Great course and beautiful views
Overall, the course was in great shape. A few of the tee boxes were a little rough, but they are being worked on. The elevation changes the game on a few holes so if not careful, the strokes will add up! The greens rolled true, fairways were in great shape, and the staff was very friendly. Great day of golf.
good game
pebble is good place for me. I will play this place again
Worst Ran Course in TN
Had a tee time at 1:40. When I get there, there is a scramble tournament that just went off at 1:15. The course just squeezed us in between the tournament groups. When we got to the back nine ( after 3 hour front), they were still putting people on the course and having them start on the back nine. This put 3 MORE groups in line ahead of us. FURIOUS! Overall, we teed off at 1:40 and we did not finish until after 7:00. A course just trying to collect a few extra dollars. I will NEVER play this course again. If it was free, I would skip it. These guys have absolutely no idea how to run a course.
Fun course/beautiful layout
This was a fun course to play and I got a great deal on golfnow. Most holes are pretty short but still challenging. You can hit your driver on most par4's. Some big elevation changes on the Par 3's which make it fun. 3 of the tee boxes where under repair but all other holes where playing at regular length. I think they airiated the greens this past Sunday. If you've never played its worth the drive from Nashville. My GPS took me to the wrong place so I recommend calling the pro shop and getting directions. Take 24 toward Clarksville and take exit 35. Turn right and it's about 5.5 miles down on your right.
Great Course
It had rained about 2-3" the night before we played so there was a good deal of casual water on course. Still, very interesting course and we'll definitely go back. Great scenery (very park like) and lots of elevation changes. There were a couple of temporary tee boxes as they're rebuilding a couple of tees -- but not a big deal. Fairways a greens in great shape (even with all the water). Only about a 25 min. drive from downtown Nashville -- definitely worth it!
