Good course
Good municipal course that at plays pretty good pace. No cart person so bring snacks and drinks. Make sure you have a tee time or you probably won’t get out. The par 3 executive course is pretty nice. 2 par 4’s, 7 par 3’s.

Great course for the price. Nice greens too. With all the Rutherford county courses going up in price Smyrna gc is a nice option to have!

Average Course, Slow Pace, Too Much Money
Had to quit after home 15 because it had already been over 4 hours and had somewhere to be. Had to wait to tee off at every hole and the marshal never asked the groups in front of us to speed up…
Course was in average condition though the layout was nice.
Wouldn’t play here again unless it was $30 or less. Even then I wouldn’t go out of my way simply because of the slow play.

this is a solid Municipal Track
Courteous staff, pleasant layout and course conditions and a reasonable price make this a regular play for me and my friends.

Course In Good Shape Considering
Considering the amount of rain we had and the storms moving through the area, the course was in fabulous condition. Greens, although a little on the slow side, putted true. There was a consistency of speed to all the greens! Fairways were fine, drained well, only a few low, wet spots here and there. Sand traps, however, were too wet to play out of.
Only one negative and a recommendation-please ask course marshal to NOT smoke around players, as some of us are allergic to nicotine products!

A really good municipal course
It had been years since I played this course. My home course was closed, so I decided to play it again. I was very pleasantly surprised. The city of Smyrna has put a lot of work and money into improving the quality of the course. There were some parts with some sparse grass. But, by and large, the grass was in great shape. And the greens were in outstanding shape. Very slow, but it had rained the night before and it didn't look like they had had a chance to mow that morning. I was very pleased with the course and the value for the money.

Good value + Range + Staff
Playing 18 during the week. Pace of play was never an issue. Fairways were cut a little long and greens were about what’s expected for a local public course. Most holes are fairly open, not too many tree lined drives. There are some elevation changes and blind shots. A couple greens could use some work and it would help if players clean up their ball marks. Will certainly return because of the cost, staff friendliness, and location.

Terribly Cheap Coolers
Course was maintained fair. Granted I played a day after a big storm. Fairways were covered with debris. Literal tumbleweeds of little branches covering every fairway. But that’s not the worst of the experience. They previously had terrible “bag” coolers, but they have exceeded the limit of the Shittest coolers of any corse I have ever played. They don’t hold ice for TWO hours and soak through. At least let us bring our own coolers. I recommend the course on a fair day.

Very enjoyable course. I was a single golfer today, and was paired with a twosome and another single golfer. They were fun and knowledgeable/helpful as I have only played this course once prior a few years back.
Course was in very good condition. A few wet areas in the fairways do to the amount of rain we received in the previous couple of days. Greens were in very good condition. Really enjoyed playing there!

This is a fun course to play
Wide open fairways. Greens are is good shape. The risk/reward factor is fair (watch out for the trees along the way!) Got the round in in less than 4 hours. Fun course to play.
