Basic muni
Not much to this course. It shows its age. Reachable par 5’s are fun. Shorter par 4’s. Smallish greens but rolled nicely. One odd note, not recommended to walk (at least the back 9). Theres about 1 mile cart ride to get to 10tee. Value priced.

Cartpath only
I play this golf course a lot, the condition of the course is overall good and the staff is mostly friendly. The only issue I have with Smyrna golf course is if there is any wet spots on the course whatsoever they keep it cartpath only, I talked to Marshall today and he informed me that it was because of two holes that were wet.I really cannot remember the last time I played this course that it was not cartpath only.Whoever makes the decision to make it cartpath only should give us golfers the benefit of the doubt that we are smart enough to stay out of a wet spot on the course. So with that said if you like staying on the cart path when the course is mostly dry this is the course for you!!!’

Great Municipal Course
I play this one a couple times a year. The course looks good even for January. The greens are tough if you like a challenge. Slow pace on the weekends.

Cart paths
The cart paths are dangerous in another of spots, where tree roots have buckled the cart paths. You can be thrown out of the cart if it is hit too hard.

Winter Golf
Winter has been very hard on Smyrna Golf Course fairways. However, greens remain playable as well as green side bunkers.

Nice course
The cart paths need serious attention. A Marshall is needed to ensure that the pace is steady, I understand that can be difficult. Overall I like the course. On the leftside of the driving range, needs a netting along the range.

Monday at Smyrna National
The course is in pretty decent shape. The greens were nice.
There was an oriental family in front of us that were letting little kids try to hit, etc. Four people in a golf cart should never be allowed.
Other than that, the round was nice. Smyrna National continues to be one of my favorite courses to play. The staff is always nice and course is usually in good shape.
