About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

Narrow with more sand than grass
We had a group of 8 take over 2 tee times, 1/2 the group had played previously while the other half had not. The practice green was in great shape, not representative of the remaining 18 greens. Course conditions have definitely gone down hill, we were often searching for grass to play from or spotting our balls land based on sand clouds at impact. If your driver has a mind of its own, leave it in the car, these fairways are narrow. It was clear that all funds were put into the new golf carts with the integrated GPS system. However, it may be the most sensitive GPS in existence, multiple times locking up the cart even when on the cart path. A group member talked to the staff about the conditions and was told that they haven’t had any rain which was not a problem for the other courses played that week in the area.
Pay a little more, go elsewhere.
Keep the ball in play
Unique holes and routing to keep you on your toes. Hit the ball straight and you have a fighting chance. Several fairways and tee boxes need work. Greens were in good condition. But for the cost a phenomenal value.
So much potential
I love the layout of the course. Unlike most courses in the panhandle this one actually has alot of elevation Big greens in good shape. Staff was very friendly. The only drawback is the fairways are very dry and patchy in areas. With a little TLC this could be a 5 star course.

Fairways are rough in spots but greens were good. For the money you can’t beat it.
The Course is a great lay out but needs attention.
Loved the lay out of the course. The greens were in decent / OK condition but the fairways and tee boxes were in pretty bad condition.
Black stone experience.
I drove an hour and twenty minutes to play this course. Great value with regards to the price. Greens were in really good shape, but the tee boxes and fairways could use some love. The course is very narrow with not much room for a misguided drive. Not a bad course, but I’m not sure I would drive that far to play it again.
Greens were Trampolines
Overall I get that it’s florida and the storms and rain wash out the fairways so it’s understandable in some spots but the greens were not receptive at all and yellow fairways. Not really playable at a high level. Overall if you’re gonna spend 35 dollars i would recommend Black Water.
Great course, great price
Nice course, hilly, dry, elevation drops and rises, and no water hazards. First time golfing here, would recommend.

enjoyable
with the rain the fairways started to green up but still in rough conditions in quite a few spots. Really like the greens as they were very true and fast. No dogs at the turn as there was a minimal staff (actually just one person to run the inside) so I can understand the lack of a kitchen but we don't have to like it. Overall it really was a nice round. Will be back.
Good round
Fairways definitely need some work. Greens are in great conditions. Carts are nice. Always a fun course to play. Hope the fairways can get back to what they used to be.
Course is in poor condition.
When we played yesterday the course was in very poor condition. Some greens were good. Many scalped with no grass. Fairways were dry in many places and washed out in many areas. Not a good value for the money.
Had a great time! Flow of golf was good, and course was in excellent shape!
