Blackstone Golf Course

One of the best value courses in the area. Twilight prices are less than $25 for 18 holes. Conditions and layout for a $25 course is very challenging. Hidden gem in the middle of a beautiful forest

Good course. It is the dry season. So, some areas were dry and hard pan.

Need rain.

While most fairways are wide the penalty for missing them is severe in many cases. Good mix of challenging holes and reasonably easy holes. I enjoy playing this course.

I’d give it all 5s except that is reserved for places like pebble. Great place. Hole #9 isn’tl week thought out but overall it’sa great track

This course reminds me of some of the courses in western ny with it's rolling hills and wooded areas.

Blackstone is challenging but fun to play.

I’ve played this course several times over the past three years. Compared to local Destin area course, it’s still the best value for the money if you're not intent on playing a waterfront or vacation spot course. I had a $20’ off Golf Now coupon making mine and my wife’s rounds $19 each.

The course is under some stress. Some tee boxes and greens are showing stress. Greens had recently been aerated which is understandable. But few others struggling. Some fairways showing a lot of sand and dirt. It’s only May. They’re not mowing the grounds often it appears to assist repair. I understand.

Courses is still worth playing and a value choice. My full experience here as been good. This is the first time I’ve given an over rating below a four. I’ll keep playing here unless conditions worsen.

Nice layout for a course. Greens good for the most part. A few had some problems and a few had not recovered from airation. Fairways varied. Some were good, some fair and a couple had very little grass. A few weeks of heat and water will help all but the worst fairways.

Great course, fairways a little ruff, but getting better.

Tee boxes needed some work. Parts of the fairway, closer to the green were very nice other parts had patches of grass. In either case is was a good hitting surface.

The greens were the best part of the course. I played several courses on 98 in Destin and these greens were as good as those $100+ fee courses.

It was a 50 minute drive from where I was staying on 30a, but well worth it.

Loved the layout. Will definitely be back.
