About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

We loved the challenge this course offered from our usual course in Fort Walton Beach… The only suggestion would be to put the water coolers back on certain tee boxes, or have a beverage cart driving around with water at a minimum
Good Course, but challenging.
The pros:
-Greens are in great shape (maybe the nicest part of the course)
-Fairways seem to well maintained.
-Staff was helpful and friendly
The Cons:
-The fairways are extremely tight. Get ready to lose a lot of balls if you are not dead center.
-The tee boxes are in very bad shape.
-Most of the holes have a steep incline on the left side of the fairway, looking at the green. My cart about gave up on me trying to climb one of the hills.
Overall:
It is a pretty course for the money. It is also not a forgiving course, which makes it very difficult. The greens were some of the best around, when compared to similarly priced courses. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's not one I'm rushing back to play, but I wouldn't skip it if a good deal came up.
Very challenging course.
The only problem I had with using Golf Now is they had no record of my scheduled tee time. Only because the knew who I was and allowed me to play without having any confirmation from Glof Now.

There are only a couple Porta Johns spread across the entire course so you better hope you don’t have any digestive problems at this place
I play this course regularly and I regularly have golf carts run out of power during play and require staff to rescue and bring additional cards
Outdated carts without any cover for your clubs and they are wore out and do not perform well
What Happened?
I’ve play Blackstone several times over the last 2 years and the course usually is in pretty good shape. I played today and was pretty disappointed with the conditions of the course. Many of the tee boxes were in horrible with basically no grass on them. Also several of the fairways were pretty bad too. Hopefully they will get these issues corrected soon.
Challenging
Good, challenging course! My only issues were a small amount of bad, dry grass in some fairways and on edges, and I feel like they were starting groups out too close together which caused some pace of play problems after a few holes. Other than those 2 small issues I had a great time and it was such a great deal with the hot deal I got on golf now.
