Blackstone Golf Course

Course and greens in good shape, could use a beer cart but other than that nothing but a good time and course.

Overall this is a nice golf course. I booked a Hot Deal online as the 4th of a foursome. When I got to the course, my group didn’t show so I was by myself. Played behind a twosome and took my time. They quit after 9 and I zipped through. 2.5 hours for 18. A couple of holes just didn’t suit my eye (180 yard uphill second shot from a downhill lie). The excellent greens made up for any other shortcomings. Subtle breaks with a few buried elephants. Rolled very true. Not lightening quick but good pace. Worth the 45 minute drive from the beach.

Bunkers need some work and rough is very short. Tees in good shape. Good variety. Friendly staff.

Course was in good shape. Staff is always good here. Good challenge after not playing for seven months.

General this course is in excellent shape, but this weekend it was pretty beat up. Couldn't tell if it was the abundance of rain , overplaying or over seeding and the new grass coming in.

This course was almost perfect! Fairways and greens were on point for me and my wife. We really enjoyed the course and looking forward to going back. If you like nature, watch for the animals coming up to the cart looking for food. They were adorable!

Fabulous course. It’s a great golf course.

Greens were very good, but a small dirt patch/mound was on one green.

Fairways were very good. Some were narrow.

The rough wasn’t too deep or thick.

The course looked good. Very green.

Good wildlife on the course. I saw some small animal on the course that looked like a large squirrel and a groundhog. It was very close to me.

The area is a great place to be.

Good sound of wildlife on the course, too.

Not too expensive. Affordable.

Practice putting green was good and large.

Driving range was very long.

Great, kind, helpful, young woman working at the pro shop.

I like that Blackstone allowed me to walk.

Walking the course was strenuous at times. It was not a flat course. Steep slopes by some fairways.

Many trees along fairways. Highly wooded.

Penalties for wayward shots at this course.

The course was difficult, and pace was slow.

I was a single playing behind a threesome. We were all at a tee box on a par 3, but nobody in the group invited me to play through. My round was nearly 4 hours long, which is very long for a single. I had to wait often behind that group.

The course was high-quality, though.

The greens fairways and tee boxes were all in excellent condition. Greens are the best I've played in a long time. This is an excellent and challenging course.

By far in the best shape of courses in the area. Greens rolled beautifully and were not dormant and lacking grass like most other courses in the area. Ground crew doing a wonderful job there.

nice golf course with scenic rolling hillsides. lots of wildlife on display. the only negative is very inhospitable staff atproshop.

Excellent course, bit of a drive but worth it. Fairways and greens in great condition, elevation changes for this area were fun. This course was fun to play.

Blackstone is a challenging course, and very picturesque Course is in fantastic condition for mid-February Weather was perfect for golfing -- sun and clouds, about 70 and light winds..

Maybe it’s because of all the rain that we’ve had down here but it sure was in better shape for January and February than normal. It’s a little far from 30A but to me well worth the trip. Grab a foursome and go! You will not be disappointed. Lots of challenging holes but also lots of birdie opportunities if you can smack it 230 yards. Been here several times Jan/Feb over the years and the young girls at the check-in seem a little crabby to the snow birds. Just IMO... But had a great time in the course. Greens are in great shape and the beer is inexpensive. The food at the grill is exceptional!
