About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

Great Course
This was the first time playing here while in vacation with my family. Pace of play was very good. The elevation changes make it challenging,
Great track
The greens are always great at Blackstone. As soon as they get their pumps fixed, the fairways will once again, along with the best greens in the area, a top contender course. I highly recommend Blackstone.
One of the top 2 courses for the money
Great staff, excellent greens and a challenging layout. Fairways still need work but overall a great value. I will be back.
Hard to score when the fairway is made of sand
This course managed to keep their greens puttable, however, the fairways are in extremely rough shape and you get punished with bad bounces even if you hit your drive straight down the middle or you end up in a divot or dirt patch. Challenging layout but given the courses poor conditions it makes it tough to score well.
Great greens poor fairways
Although the greens were outstanding the fairways had a lot of sand and bare spots.. n This is a very hilly course which you usually don’t see in FL. I did enjoy the. Course even though it had issues..

Fairways are in REALLY REALLY BAD shape greens are perfect
Solid course
Fairways a bit patchy, greens excellent! Nice carts too!
Very dry!
Course is rapidly drying up. That said, these greens ( as I’ve written in previous reviews) are the absolute best around. And we drive an hour to get there!
Fairways need H2O and Grass
Excellent staff, nice club house, easy access off major roads, wonderful layout, hilly wtth challenging carries off the tee. Potential to be a beautiful challenging course.
However, sparse grass on the fairways, very slow grassy greens. Not sure if its a lack of maintenance dollars, or just not enough water for the course??
Overall, worth the trip to know what to expect.
old Farrts day out
Our threesome played a best ball match. We scored two under withe two birdies and the rest pars. Had a great time.
Fine If Playing Greens Only
We've played this course many times and always enjoy the layout and the challenge of going back and forth over the ravine. Sadly the fairways are in very poor shape. The greens are beautiful but it's getting there that you have to go through washouts and fairways that look like they have not seen water in a month.
