About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

Fun course
This course is a great value. The fairways are still coming in from the winter. Greens were in great shape. Putts rolled true. For a Florida course, this one is very hilly which adds to the challenge. Several gulleys to hit over which were made harder by the wind. Overall a great layout and an enjoyable round. Especially for the value
Nice golf course
A nice golf course to go work on your game. I been playing here for 3 years on and off, because of the distance from my house. But I would play here more often if the distance of a drive is not an issue... Nice golf course, and the pro shop staff is always nice and friendly. Highly recommended golf course.
All greens no fairways
Greens were in great shape, but the fairways were in the worst condition. I might’ve ever seen on a fully open functional course.
Very little grass and mostly weeds and washed out ravines
The staff the greens and the layout keep me coming back, but if the fairways were right, this would be my favorite course to play in Northwest Florida
Old Timers
Our 4 some plays a best ball round. Just want to get out for a little exercise and and away from our better half to recharge the batteries. We all in 80's and still enjoy the game.
Great greens. Fairways, not so great.
The greens were outstanding. Nice turf, rolled very well.
The fairways bunkers and tee boxes need some serious care. The staff was super nice! Ay least they prioritized the expenditures where they matter most, the greens.
I was able to play two balls per hole and played in under 3 1/2 hrs. I was practicing and had time to chip and putt around each green.
Best Ball
We are golfers in our mid 80's so we just play a best ball game. We normally shot under par and still enjoy the game and getting out. The greens were great but the fairways not so much.
Excellent greens
The greens were almost perfect. But the tee boxes and most fairways need work. We thought it was still a good value for the price paid.
Hidden gem in the panhandle
I recently moved to Panama City Beach and asked some locals for the best course for the best value and Blackstone kept getting mentioned, so I had to check it out. I've since played the course 3 times in the first 6 weeks of living here, and I'm an hour drive away.
This course is definitely not your typical Florida course. There are elevation changes on many of the holes, and they are natural and not man-made. It's much more reminiscent of a course in Ohio that I used to play.
Now, the course has had some natural issues keeping the fairways in the best shape, but the greens are near perfect.
The staff has been extremely friendly, particularly a gentnamed Kirby.
Looking forward to playing this course many times.
Awesome Undulating Layout
This course is a hidden jewel.! It has great vistas and the greens are impeccable. The fairways need a little more tlc but overall this course offers a tough 5 star experience

Excellent Greens
Fairways to greens were only in fair shape. A lot of bare and sand areas where grass should be. I guess the concentration was keeping the greens in excellent shape because they were beautiful.
Blackheart...always a challenge!
Best greens around...bar none! Terrain makes it interesting, to say the least!
