The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Good course

Greens are always good. Staff friendly and low key. Now course doesnt include cart with teeoff deals so value is less. Therefore I dont play there nearly as much.

Harder than you think

Great course, kinda of short if you wanna walk. I think people believe this to be an easy course but...super narrow fairways , lots of OB, and the greens, right now, are super fast! Can you putt? I play here twice a month. They have an irons only range so you can warm up .

Great round as always. Greens are still in great shape even in mid October.

Staff is friendly as always but wish the guy taking in carts by the pro shop had the decency to not yell complete conversations with another employee at the driving range. Especially considering the range is small. So I have no choice but to be near by trying to hit.

Aside from that. Staff is great at this place. From the the pro shop, Marshall and beer cart.

9 holes in 1 hour 50 min is pretty standard here.

nice public course, slow on the back 9

We had a very nice day playing this course. The front 9 moved along well, but the pace drastically slowed down on the back, and on numerous occasions we got to a tee box and there were 2 or 3 groups that needed to tee off before we could go. There was a marshal monitoring things, but we ended up not finishing our round based on the pace.

Greens are back to normal

Greens are mostly recovered after the aeration and back to normal. Normal at HR is competition fast IMO.... which I enjoy. Not everyone will.
