Green Garden Country Club - The Links

I and my two sons played (one of whom had never golfed before). The course was beautiful, in great condition, at an affordable price. It wasn’t overly crowded, which was perfect for my son’s first round ever. However, the layout is very odd, bordering on dangerous on one hole as you must drive toward the tee, alongside the fairway, with the group in front of you teeing off right at you! Navigating from hole to hole was the most difficult and confusing experience I’ve ever had in 40 years playing golf. Not sure what’s going on, maybe they are in the process of renovating or making a longer term transition to some other 18 hole layout. I suspect we might play again, now that we know how to navigate…but the first time was a chore.

Fun little course. Yardages could be marked clearer and possibly remeasured! Finding each hole was difficult since the hole signs were not in place . Condition was excellent.

can’t say enough what great condition this course is in!! the greens were amazing. only drawback is the layout. we were paired with a couple played the course and knew where they were going otherwise i would have been lost. The course needs more signage to show people where you’re supposed to be going

You need to have more than just a single sign stating “cart path only” and the staff should over emphasize that “cart path only” is in effect. It was never mentioned once by the pro shop attendants or the starter. Also, IMO the conditions did not merit “cart path only”. It’s not the course they think it is.

Played Blue and Emerald, courses are in great early season shape.. greens are short and fast and fairways in great shape. Only issue is some of the traps are hard and need new sand so stay out of the traps.

I never regret playing here and I continue to believe that. Very well kept and the course is challenging. A little on the pricey end but If there’s a hot deal for this course you have to take advantage of it. Come here and enjoy your time.

Played the 9 hole course, the tees, fairways and greens were in great shape. There were a bunch of little annoying things though. There was no drinking water or ball washers on the course. Beverage cart came by at the first tee (10:00 AM) and we never saw it again. The cart paths are paved but very torn up and makes for a rough ride. Lastly, the 9 hole course is spread out and to return from the driving range or the 9th hole to clubhouse forces you to pass through oncoming players, pretty dangerous and I suspect pretty annoying to those playing those holes.

Otherwise Peter keeps improving things around the courses…When he finishes remodeling the restaurant it’s going to be great..the food is always top shelve
