9 Hole layout on South course Photo submitted by DavidLaDuke on 04/06/2015
A very experience. Please return my money
I truly want my money back. The course greens are in worst condition. The green had some chemical issues which killed the grass. It was a waste of timE, driving and expenses.
Greens are DEAD
Played July 4th. The overwhelming majority of the greens on the South & East 9's are DEAD. We were told AT THE TURN, NOT BEFORE. Would have been nice to know BEFOREHAND. The clubhouse is being renovated, so no 19th hole to speak of. Only candy, chips and Gatorade at the turn. The course, with the exception of the greens are actually in decent shape. Bunkers we're hit & miss, some good, others were typical Illinois bunkers with dirt/sand mix. I've always enjoyed Broken Arrow, a little less so this time.
Don’t charge me full price with greens that were absolutely destroyed. At least warn me the greens were destroyed before I play.
Greens are in horrible confitiom
14 out 18 greens were burn out ( brown). No one did a word whoever reserve the tee time nor st check in.
The clubhouse was closed, not indoor restrooms available, only portapoties.
No place to grab a sandwich!
Not a good experience!
Terrible Condition
The Clubhouse and Washroors were not Open.
Looks like they may have been remodeling, but noone was there , and the doors had "STOP WORK ORDERS POSTED."
.No explanation at the temporary pro shop.
Half of the Greens were unplayable . Some Disease I assume. . I had played there at least oncce a year for the last 20 years, I have never seen anything like this befire.
... Do Not waste yoyr money there. !!!!!!!
Greens
The greens on multiple holes where very bad , don’t know if it was due to lack of rain or some kind of bug issues. Was there a month ago and it was much better don’t know what happened over the last month
Needs Improvement
A number of the greens have no layer of grass. As if the grass had disease. You’re basically hitting onto/putting on a layer of dirt/mud. Additionally, the restroom facilities were exceptionally dirty in every way. Too expensive of a green fee for the condition of the course.
Greens were horrible
Greens were in horrible condition. Big mistake not warning the golfers of this condition and charging them full price. I’ll definitely warn my buddies to avoid this course.
Destroyed/Unplayable Greens
Most greens are destroyed due to what appears to be chemical burns.
There was a fivesome in front of us so we had a substantial wait on just about every shot.
4-5 of the greens didn't even really have grass/were mostly just mud. Rest of the course was actually in pretty decent shape and they do have a grass range with a dozen or so stations.
Terrible Condition
Most of the greens were burnt out and mud (it rained the previous day) because of a fertilization issue. Some were barely playable, but some like the par 3 third on the East course was nothing but mud, with tire tracks and deep gorges throughout, making it totally unplayable. We were not warned about the course condition at the time of making the reservation, which was made by phone. Also, the price did not reflect the condition of the course, as we paid $50 to walk (full price). To make things worse, the bunkers were not pumped out, and most had several inches of water in them, making them unplayable. In addition, apparently, they had a water line break and flood in the club house, which was not usable and closed. GolfVisions, the course management company should be embarrassed for taking golfer’s money and permitting play on this course, if you can call it that. It needs to be shut down, and play should not resume until the greens (or in this case “muds”) are reseeded and in proper condition.
