The course is target golf at its best.
The course was in good shape with the exception of the bunkers and tee boxes on the par 3's. Many bunkers had mud in them and none had been raked. Par 3 tee boxes were completely covered with divots.
Thank you for playing with us so early in the season! We are sorry for the conditions at the time, we are working hard on getting the course back from the winter weather. Hope to see you back soon!
Course rating
The course is in fairly good condition, but it's due to our weather. If Broken Arrow maintains the course as well as they did last year. It will be fun playing multiple times this course again.
Thank you for playing a round with us! We are planning on maintaining the course as well if not better than last year! We hope to see you back very soon.
Value
Very good value, course in good condition. I play this course several times a month
Thank you for being a loyal golfer! We cant wait to see you back soon
Enjoy able round
It wasn't a busy day, pace of play was ideal. Course was in pretty good shape for how early in the season It was. Greens where putting true.
Thank you for noticing our hard efforts to get the course in good condition from the winter. We hope to see you back soon!
Not Worth the Hype in Midwest Gol Magazine
I drove 2 hours from Wisconsin to play this course because of Midwest golf magazine hype. It is in a very good location Built around nice expensive homes. I played the South and East courses. They have 27 holes here. The east course is somewhat moderately easy. I played from the whites, as my age has slowed my game speed swing down now, but there is only about 25 yards max distance between the white, Blue, and Gold tees here. Not much of a longer courses from varying tees. I holes out on the east with a 38, and a 42 on the south, being a 5 to 9 handicap that's not to good, but Saturday brought out heavy gusty wind conditions, and on the south course, it's a links course friends. This 9 holes you play the outter holes and work you way in side the 9 holes on nthe south sourse, I found the south extremely boring. Not a lot of elevation changes on either of these 2 nine hole courses. Moderately flat. There is water here, but if you can hit somewhat straight, you will play fine here. Course was in decent shape for this early in the spring. I did replace tons of fairway divots when I played, People have some course edicate here. YOU wonder why courses charge so much to play, that's why, to fix fairways and greens cost money. Friendly staff, very nice starter guy. I expected so much more from the add in magazine and felt let down here. YOU like local play and links style courses than this is one for you Not hardly a tree out there. There are some but very spaced out, very! Was hoping for fairway bunkers, and found none here, or just a couple. nothing on this course but some water will get you into trouble playing here. I give it 2 stars. It's a plain Jane course. Good Beginner course, but for 10 and under handicap, it will bore you.......

Thank you for the in-depth review. We know this will help the golfers. We are sorry that our course did not live up to your expectations. We would like to make this up to you, please email me directly for a promo code, maryteetimes@yahoo.com
Nice course, good value
Got an amazing deal to play here from GolfNow. Arrived at the course a bit early to warm up since it was only 40-ish degrees outside. Went inside to check in and asked the guy if I could get on earlier since I was a single. He proceeds to tell me that they normally would never do this on a "GolfNow reservation" and it probably would never happen in the summer when they were busy. I get the summer thing, but there were only four cars in the lot! Really? Anyway, went out solo and had a good round on the South/East courses. Course can be challenging in spots. A couple of forced carries make it interesting. Make sure you're playing the correct tees for your game. A windy day can make this a pretty demanding test. Give it a try, convenient off I-355.
Thank you for the review! We are so glad you enjoyed your round with us and you got to play as a single. We hope to see you back soon!
Good deal
Course was nice for early season. Always windy here, though
Thank you for reviewing and playing with us! We hope to see you back soon.
Late/Off Season treasure
Played here with two friends the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Started off great at 50 degrees, by the time we finished it was around 30 and snowing. Nonetheless, a fantastic experience. Fairways and greens were in incredible shape considering it snowed almost an inch about 3 days before. Great, open yet challenging layout with wide fairways/landing areas but hazards lurking and challenging approaches. Recommend to any level of golfer.
Play smart.
27 holes.
I Played the South/East. Reg tees 6,350.
71.7/130 ratings.
Quality layout with plenty of trouble to get into. Wind made it that more troublesome when you play for the first time. Fairways wide enough for fair play.
They have discounted rates. Don't pay rack rate. If we're closer(45 min drive) I'd play more often. Not enough of a personality to make the drive over and over.
An afternoon of waiting.
We teed off on time only to finish 5 1/2 hrs. later. Stacked up all afternoon without a ranger in sight. The course was in nice shape' the GPS was very helpful, I just expected to play it in a reasonable amount of time.
OK for a links course
good for fall play very few trees ...of the 20 courses we play i'd reat this number 8
Greens where in great shape
As a single I had a fousome two groups ahead but the moved fairly quick. I just slowed down my pace to match. I played 18 in 3 hours
Broken Arrow GC Lockport
I used a GolfNow.com Hot Deal and went out as a single.
I was overall extremely pleased with the golf course condition and the staff was very accomodating/helpful.
Labor Day Weekend...
A bit of my way. Only went because of a decent deal through GolfNow, including cart and sleeve of balls. Very open with relatively few trees. Houses line the whole course. Good use of bunkers, ponds and creeks to keep you challenged. Bring some extra balls to feed the water gods. Very well maintained fairways and greens. Tee boxes were a little worse for the wear due to the recent wet conditions. Carts are electric with GPS. Pace of play was too slow by my taste -- 4.5 hours. We were stacked up like planes on approach to Ohare...
Decent course but no reason to go back.
Good play for the price
Course was in fair condition. North 9 had brutal roughs. If you ended past first cut, deep and lots of debris. Greens played very well. We played at 6am so staff were still working on course so later rounds were probably better. Would play again.
Always an enjoyable experience
Course in very good condition. Nice pace of play for the most part. GPS very helpful with some of the holes. Very good value
Great Course
I played south / east, the course is in great shape and is challenging to most golfers. I will certainly be back.
Great Golf for Great Value
For a public course it is one of the best in the southwest side of Chicago. Staff was friendly, and the course was in Great shape.
The price is terrific for the quality of play.
This course is challenging and has great scenery
This course is challenging and has great scenery. Very well kept and staff is friendly. The price is the cheapest compared to any other course with the cart.
We hope to had a great round with us! We will take your comment into consideration and see how we can improve the pro shop. Hope to see you back soon!
